We were 33-49 last season. This season, we have gone 57-30 and have a chance to win a series at home with a backup plan in Houston where we have won twice. This season is a HUGE success to me even if we lose the series. Which we won't.

You're acting like we already lost. If we blow a 3-1 lead, that will not be a success in my eyes.

They will win this series. It might be the only one. But they will win it. Still think the team needs more from LA than what they have received in the last three games. Yes three. I just think he needs to think if not be more aggressive.

i don't dwell on the past. we're in the now. we lost, we need to fucking win. there was nothing out there tonight that suggests we are shoo-in for anything.

I SAID we WON'T but I'm trying to calm down the people who think we suck because we didn't sweep. maxiep was voice of reason and optimism even when we were faltering in the second half of the season. Now, he's freaking out. There's nothing to freak out about. We are having a GREAT season and a GREAT playoffs. What is there to fret?

like i said about a month ago, we lose in the playoffs, this season is a failure.

I didn't have a lot of expectations going into this, and if it had been an even series the whole way I'd feel differently, but if we blow 3-1 I'll be pissed.

He had 29 points and 10 rebounds in Game 4. What the fuck?

see, that's what i was saying. we go in get swept or even worse, lose this, its going to be a fuck fest in here. not a good kind either.

the regular season means jack shit. all that counts is what you do in the playoffs.

We've been the best team in the series. What team would you rather be? The team that falls behind early and that rallies at the end or The team that gets a nice lead and blows it? I'm VERY happy that our team is the former.

I want to be the team that advances. everything else can suck my dick.

I think we've been the better team, but not by much. Any one of those games could have gone to the Rockets. We have not dominated the Rockets really at any point. We have played them even, and that has results in some very very close games. It's remarkable how similar these teams are in overall talent.

Id rather be the team that doesnt have garbage for bench players. With that said I truly believe our starters can carry us into the first round, it is up to Stotts to realize this and play the bench pretty much not at all. I mean I never expected us to beat Houston before this series started, but after being up 3-1 it would be pretty disappointing to choke it away and again have this whole "we cant get out of the first round" shit on our back.

I mean, would you rather be Indiana and OKC, "contenders" who are DOWN 2-3 and going on the ROAD?

We're up 3-2 going home. We're good. This team is incredibly tough mentally.

When you watch what the man did in games one and two and how easy he made it look. His line is fairly quiet.

He was doing it on Terrence Jones and some single coverage by Asik. Now, they put Asik on him and bring Howard to help. He STILL prevailed in Game 4 despite that but we don't need him to force it. We gotta make them pay for all the attention they're giving Aldridge. Look at Lopez getting 17 tonight and Wes getting 27. Aldridge isn't going to have another 40+ point game and he doesn't have to.

What I don't understand is why Terry is so staunch about his rotation. When Mo has it going, I totally understand playing him a lot, but on nights when he sucks I don't understand it at all.

We need him to play with the same spirit he played with in games in game two. He doesn't have to put the line as long as he plays with the spirit. If he plays with that spirit, it's infectious and the team plays with an edge.

Exactly. If there is ever a game you dont play Mo if he continues to be careless, play no defense and cant hit any shots it is game 6. That is why you ride the starters because even though you risk having them get tired, sometimes the fans can help will the team to make good/key plays as opposed to doing it in Houston.

With all that said, none of these players and coaches look that concerned. So why should I be?

They'll close it out friday.

It is there job not to look concerned. They have to stay positive otherwise that will be the ticket into us getting kicked out of the first round. They still have to come out and execute and play though and if the bench sadly gets burn they need to do something as well.

No, I think they think they are going to win.

I assume you're speaking 'to' me

I was lol. Sometimes I am just too lazy to quote. I think they are too. But it does depend a lot on how much the bench plays and if they still play their normal burn what they produce for us. If it is nothing, all 5 starters need double figures with 3 of them needing to get 20+.

It's a statistical fact - bench players play better at home. It was true tonight, it was true in Game 4. It will be true in Game 6 when we end Houston's season.

Jeremy Lin played well tonight. The rest of their bench wasn't that great. Lin was basically their starting point guard. He played 30 minutes.

If we win the series, then it is a success. We have not won a series since my dad had hair. We are ahead 3-2, if we win this series then
it means the Blazers are back. If we lose, then it will mean that all I have for the rest of the summer is the Portland Timbers to go too.

For all of our starters and most of our backups, Friday's game will be the very first true "must win" game of their NBA careers.

I know Dame can handle it. Can the others?
