Phil knight offers to buy blazers

So everyone that knows Ghislaine must be a pedophile.

Lets arrest all folks she has taken pictures with throughout the years. They all are guilty.

Like I said. If a sale were to go through, Silver would have done his due diligence.

So uh how many in Epstein's and Ghisaline's client books have been arrested? Wake up man a ton of very, very powerful people have been downplaying this and Laurene is one of the most obvious. How many arrests based on Ghisaline and Epstein among their clients? Zero. What does that imply to the point of being explicit? That very powerful people want it that way and you have Laurene running cover. You go ahead and keep your head in the sand, but we don't want this scumbag near our team period. I would also argue that a great many of Epstein and Ghisaline's friends absolutely knew what they were up to and their friends are a who's who of the rich and powerful.

I'm not going to derail this thread further but I would consider ending my fandom if she bought the team that's how strong my position is and I've been a blazers fan since some of my first words were "Two for Larue" so you will NEVER change my mind on this issue. Further, you're clearly poorly informed as you didn't even know any of this until I told you, which tells me you know very little about this subject.

:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

This is serious stuff but obviously you are an expert. Tell me more.

Do you know about Thatcher coverup, The Franklin Coverup, or the Dutroux Scandal? I bet not and yes I'm an expert on this subject. I have a friend who has worked internationally to end human trafficking. You're way out of your depth and making fun of a deadly serious issue you know nothing about.

I'm not making fun of human trafficking at all. That is obviously a horrible thing.

I've said over and over, Silver would do his due diligence. Unless you think he is part of some big coverup too, then if what you are saying is true, he should find it in his due diligence.

What do you expect the Blazers to say when this offer was supposed to be private and assuming the team if not up for sale as of this moment is getting ready to be then the team has to play this smart. We all want Jody to go to them take the 2b dollar check and hand over the team like 2min ago but this is a complicated process that needs to play out and NOT in the press.

How about no comment at all

How about no comment at all

Hello,

They had to respond. The press would hound them until they did and the longer they didn't, the more extreme hypotheticals get tossed out their by satirical reporters with nothing else to say because the team hasn't commented and then the public runs with it.

Jody is ill
The Allens and the Knights don't get along
Jody plans on keeping the team and making all the calls forever
Etc
Etc
Etc

Blazers had to respond. Whether a smokescreen or not. Too big of news to just wither away.

Was John Canzano yanking everybody's chain?

Has anyone but Canzano and his anonymous sources reported the trust's requirement to sell? Until I see it reported by someone more credible, and not just referencing his story, I find it sadly plausible that the team really is not for sale.

I don't want that woman near this team. Period. I will drop it on that note and thanks for acknowledging the severity of the issue. As a former social worker who worked with trafficked women I take it very seriously indeed hence my vehemence. Cheers and lets end there.

82? He could give us 5 coherent years I bet. The Dodgers don’t hesitate to spend so I like that. What about Phil’s kids? Any worth passing the team to?

This is a good question! Are his kids as loyal to Oregon growing up wealthy?

Phil's son, Travis, who graduated from Portland State. He runs a stop-motion animation movie studio (Laika) in Hillsboro and also directed the last Transformers movie, Bumblebee, which was released in 2018.

Jake Fischer called it imminent a few months ago. Not necessarily referring to any requirement in the trust but just from noise he heard from league offices of a vetting process.

Brian Berger from SportsBusinessRadio also has echoed much of Canzanos reporting and even threw out names of potential suitors.

Travis Knight, Portland State University's 2012 Alumni Achievement award recipient -
"It was a really interesting place with just a lot of different kinds of people.
That's one of the things I found so stimulating about it. To me it was the perfect kind of place for me to be in. If I had just gone off to a college in this kind of perfectly manicured environment where basically everyone was the same fundamentally in the same moment in their lives I don't think I would have got the richness of the experience that I ended up getting at Portland State. "

It looks like Laika's next movie will be Wildwood, set in Portland, based on the book by Colin Meloy. This article is from September 2021.

"“As a deep-dyed native son of Oregon, I have rainwater, microbrew, and fair-trade coffee coursing through my veins,” said Knight.

Laika has begun production on its sixth stop-motion feature, “Wildwood,” the studio’s first fantasy adventure set in the natural beauty of hometown Portland, Oregon. Laika President & CEO Travis Knight (“Bumblebee,” “Kubo and the Two Strings”) directs, and legendary cinematographer Caleb Deschanel (“The Right Stuff”) makes his first foray into stop-motion. The six-time Oscar nominee brings his naturalistic style to handcrafted animation after lensing the virtual world of Jon Favreau’s “The Lion King.”

“Wildwood” is based on the first in a trilogy of YA fantasy novels by Colin Meloy, lead singer and songwriter for Portland-based The Decemberists, and illustrated by artist Carson Ellis. The project about a secret forest has been in development at Laika for a decade. No distribution has been announced, though there are obviously several streaming opportunities available at Neflix, Amazon, and Apple.

I think a lot of people on this board might have something for Bert. It's not $3B. Mrs. HCP might be able to help him out with what it is.
To get f'ed?
