Philadelphia has been granted permission to interview Portland assistant David Vanterpool for its head coaching job, league source tells Y!

Think again. You guys may not know this, but he and Dame are VERY tight! The only guy that works with Lillard during pre game warmups is Coach V. Also if you were to go back and watch our broadcasts from last season......Dame sits right next to him while out of the game and all they do is talk about what's going on in the game........he also is the last person talking to Dame as he heads back on the floor. Very close bond between those two and if he does leave, our PGOTF will not be happy!

Which I suspect Is a good thing no matter how good of a coach that you, I or even the Blazers think he is. So sorry to hear that for Vanterpool but good for the Blazers
