Just watched yesterday's Around the Horn. They asked who was the most impressive team of us, Miami, SA, and Indy. He said we were the most impressive and pointed out that we best SA because we beat them.

Nice of him to say, but Plaschke is a huge hack. If it was Tim Cowlishaw or J.A. Adande I'd be a lot more inclined to care.

Well said! Also we are beating teams even when our top two scorers are not shooting well, this cannot be said about Miami, Indiana or San Antonio....could be we've actually "moved the needle"

Dude. The point is that people in the national media are saying nice things about us. He knew our roster and that we beat SA. I don't think most people know that stuff.

I know that matters to some people and I know this is going to make it sound like I'm too cool by half, but I have never really cared about that stuff (good or bad ink).

The point is Plaschkie is a hack unless he is saying nice things about the Blazers

Yeah, well, it's fun to win, but the NBA will never let the Blazers win a title. The only way we'd win is if we go up against another small market team like Indiana, or the media darlings we play against break their knees during the series.

And really, truly, Plaschke is a huge fucking hack - a click-baiting, blowhard with all of the nuance and analytic ability of a sea slug.

SA, MIA are both small market teams

MIA - 16
POR - 22
SAS - 37

New York is 1. They haven't won a title since 1973

Thank you! I don't understand why people say stars only want to go to big market! LeBron, Wade, and Bosh just wanted to play together. If we were the only team that could've made that happen, I'm sure they would've signed with us. Also, how big is the Boston market?

Never, that I know, but I never said you did say that

You implied that I would think he was a hack if he said something bad about our team. You were

No, they would not have signed with us. There are about 135 major differences between Miami and Portland to a young black multi millionaire who plays during the winter.

Okay. How is he a hack?

JOHN CANZANO WITH A BIGGER MOUTH AND A BIGGER EGO.

I have no interest in it, but people who doubt my claim should go and read the L.A. Times archive for this twat.

Really, if we were the only way all three could play together, they would've passed on us? I disagree. The most important thing to them was getting to play together. If the richest owner in sports said he could make it happen, I doubt they'd have passed.

All the other major free agents in their prime that have had a choice and still signed with us agree with you

Being a hack doesn't mean it's untrue, or does it? The fact that it's even being put out there, albeit by a "hack", is nice no?

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, but that doesn't mean I'm going to use it to tell time.
