Emmm Now? The present? Right now, Marbury is better than Crawford, and will be for probably for a couple of years. But 5, 6 and 7 years down the road, Crawford will be in his prime and that's when Steph drops out of the equation.

Well, he proved in Phoenix that he doesn't like to differ the ball to others on consistent basis like a point guard should be doing.

Look at the dramatic change Phoenix is going through now that they got a point guard who does his job right and differs the ball with basicly the same team they had with Marbury (except for Q).

You said it has nothing to do with age, right? Now you're mentioning Marbury dropping out of the equation.

A different head coach
A new and improved Joe Johnson
Quintin Richardson

I guess this is Marbury's fault he didn't have these players

Its obviously not all marburys fault, but when he was in phoenix he still had amare and shawn marion which isn't that bad. All he could do was lose in the first round to the spurs and then have a terrible second year with the suns which is why he got traded( by the way that was a terrible trade for NY as if the hadn't trade for him they would have had cap space). Im not saying marburys fully at fault, but wuth a line up like that and marbury the self proclaimed best pg in the league, then the least he could have done was get them to the second round.

Amare was a rookie. He obviously wasn't as good as he was now. Marion was this good. And also you didn't mention that they had a different coach and Joe Johnson wasn't this good either. I don't understand how losing to the Spurs is bad. They were the NBA champions and they took it to game 6 which is very good. He also hit a game winner for them too.

Because Marbury was doing so well that season, Colangelo gave him a huge extension into 2008. The reason why he traded was to get cap space. He didn't have a terrible year with the Suns. Amare was injured in the begining and they struggled.
