Who was that guy?
Meyers needs to watch this clip. Then go back to his old hair cut.

Are we going to keep track of how many Blazer moving screens are set and not called as well? We'll know early on what the reffing looks like after the umpteenth moving screen set by the Warriors that isn't called and magically Curry and Thompson are wide-open for jump shots while the announcers rave at how efficient Golden State is.

Not anymore. They lost Bogut, and Zaza is meh.Feel free. Every team sets them but Golden State is probably the team that is the most egregious with them.
You know, that just gave me an idea - something I've wanted to do myself, but have never had the time to do. And that is to track stats that aren't collected in box scores. Back when NBA.com had video clips for every stat collected in a players game log I would go through to look at stuff like Rebounds vs Contested Rebounds - so often someone would have a big rebounding night, but when I'd go back and look at the video they'd come away with 5 or fewer contested rebounds. Are we going to keep track of how many Blazer moving screens are set and not called as well?

Soooo, if people were interested, next season people could volunteer to track one stat over the course of a game/season, and as a group we could compile a more complete assortment of stats - Contested Rbd, Hockey Asst, Screen Asst, Altered Shot, etc. Unfortunately with KGW not broadcasting I won't be able to participate...![]()
I think his shoulder surgery really messed him up he wasn't 100% to start the year, and then he developed some kind of vague back problems. He really doesn't look like the same player. This just makes me angry. Why does he look more experienced two years ago than today is he fucking Benjamin Button even his god damn release is faster fuuuuuckin kill me.
A lot of their "screens" look more like downfield blocking. They just keep rubbing the defender off until their shooter either has a pull up or a clear path to the basket. I'm not sure if they are all fouls considering the defender is moving trying to get around them, but if they aren't maybe the rule should be changed somehow.Feel free. Every team sets them but Golden State is probably the team that is the most egregious with them.
Well THAT would have made my searches a lot easier! Thanks! (I rarely go to NBA.com anymore.)http://stats.nba.com/hustle/#!/

Westbrook leads the league in uncontested rebounds. He gets like only 2 contested rebounds a game. Puts a damper on his triple double average a bit.
This is an awesome collection
Section III--By Screening
A player who sets a screen shall not (1) assume a position nearer than a normal step from an opponent, if that opponent is stationary and unaware of the screener's position, or (2) make illegal contact with an opponent when he assumes a position at the side or front of an opponent, or (3) assume a position so near to a moving opponent that illegal contact cannot be avoided by the opponent without changing direction or stopping, or (4) move laterally or toward an opponent being screened, after having assumed a legal position. The screener may move in the same direction and path of the opponent being screened. In (3) above, the speed of the opponent being screened will determine what the screener's stationary position may be. This position will vary and may be one to two normal steps or strides from his opponent.
Great point, and a question I've always had...What people don't understand is that you can move as much as you want until there's contact. An illegal screen is a foul. So until there's illegal contact, the ref has nothing.
Did you mean during this game?I am going to laugh so hard when CJ breaks Thompson's ankles not once but twice during this series.
