What was my “attack” on you?

You really want me to dig it up? I made a comment about how I dont want Aminu on this team next year and you proceeded to tell me to "Stfu." Not exactly something you want to do if you want to be taken seriously. From there it spiraled out of control with you and some others.

I've ever so lightly skimmed most of this crowd noise debate, but I do have one question: Watching on TV, there were periods of the game where both the team and the crowd were flat. It sure sounded that way, at least. You could hear a few people clearly cheering, some clapping, but not much volume. It didn't sound muted. Other times, the crowd got revved up and was quite loud.

Are the sound engineers really working the mics and editing things on the fly to create a crowd noise narrative, to make the HCA feel less daunting? It seems far-fetched, but I don't see any other possibility if it was indeed loud throughout.

This was my first post to you in this thread.
The way you respond to other people from your first day on this forum was adversarial.
You say it's 'telling it like it is'.
But there is a way to approach a conversation without trying to go @ other posters.

There is a rule on the internet.
If you're always involved in drama with multiple people. It's not them, it's you.

tl;dr
If you go @ other posters like you have from the first time you joined this site.
If you then play the victim for getting responses just like yours.
You then can't play the victim, and expect empathy.

Have fun having so few people to talk to.

Pretty civil I'd say. Simply pointing out that you're part of the problem.

Your responses was to bring up something in the past.
Hey haven't you wanted people to 'let something go before?' Isn't that something you were complaining about?
I'm pretty sure it is.
Anyway heres your response.

Gee, what a convenient rule for the mob of users on a witch hunt falsely accusing me of being a once-banned alt.

I get accused by you of being part of a mob of users who witch hunted you.
Even when you can go look it up that my first post to you gave you the benefit of the doubt.

Pretty much not being civil by your own standard set in this post.
You’re getting two issues mixed up and conflated together.
Issue 1: what the rules are in this forum
Issue 2: what civil behavior is
Satisfying the former doesn’t necessarily satisfy the latter. When you call someone’s posts “silly” you might not be breaking the rules of this sub, but you are being uncivil, and hence, “causing drama” (which is, ironically, what you’re accusing me of doing).

I don't expect you to admit fault.
Nor do I expect you to admit you weren't being civil yourself.
But you have to understand crying to others about 'civil behavior' when you don't show it yourself is bullshit.

This is why people are telling you, you bring this on yourself.

Sorry dawg but I gotta stick up for my dawg Aminu

Could it be that you feel personally invested in the crowd conversation, so you’re perception of the crowd has become biased?
Nope, I'd be the first to admit if the crowd was lacking. It wasn't. I went to the arena thinking that if the crowd wasn't loud that I was going to start calling out people who weren't bringing it. I didn't have to do that.

Could it be that the adrenaline you had from watching a close game of your favorite team made you over-estimate the volume?
That makes no sense. Me being excited or disappointed or whatever emotion has no effect on whether the crowd was loud. Every single person (other than the handful of OKC fans) were literally chanting Defense on every defensive possession and encouraging the team on offense. The only times it was quiet were when we were shooting free throws.

Could it be that you’re just arguing with me for the hell of it?
Why would I argue with you for the hell of it? That doesn't sound like something I'd want to be a part of. Besides I'm not arguing, the truth is the crowd was super loud and you're the only one trying to say otherwise.

Are you focusing on your first comment because it is the only comment where you’ve managed to refrain from calling me silly, mocking me, etc?

Well ok. But you should probably note that your first comment was you inserting yourself into a conversation that had nothing to do with you and taking the side against me. This alone was enough to justify my witch hunt comment.

You don’t have to be outright hostile on your first comment to me. Immediately siding against me, then insulting me on your next 3 comments will do.

This is a public forum where anyone can respond to anything they wish.
You cannot have a problem with that. Otherwise public forums aren't for you.
Ever had someone come up to you while you were standing on a public sidewalk. Only to tell you, get off my sidewalk?
Basically what you just told me.

You brought up the past, like you hated so much when others did to you.
Which in turn allowed me to call your post silly. Because it was. You go quite upset when posters did that to you. But you're allowed to bring up the past towards other posters? Okay. Got it.

Calling someones post silly is not a grey area, it's not skirting the rules.
It's a huge difference.
If I said. I wanted to kill @hoopsjock 's post. That would be a huge difference from directing my comment towards him.
I did not insult you. I called your posts silly.
Please refrain from putting words in my mouth.

But this is just wasted effort isn't it?
You're never wrong. I'll remember to ask you if I can participate in a conversation from now on.

Where were you sitting?

I don’t have a problem with it, you were playing victim by saying I falsely accused you of being part of a witch hunt. I simply showed your behavior justified my comments.

“I did not insult you. I called your posts silly.”

This is such a bad-faith summary of your behavior towards me that I can safely conclude you aren’t being genuine, and this conversation is a waste of time. Im putting you on ignore. Goodbye.

Look, I agree that this guy is really fucking annoying and I would be really glad if he went right the fuck out of this forum....

But I do have to point out the irony in this post
The irony is this post pointing out irony.

We can start with everyone in this forum accusing me of being a once-banned poster on an alt -
That's your fault due to some of the things you've said, as well as other posters faults who have made alts.

I’m just getting sick of the handful on here who continue to get preferential treatment from the mods! Just because they’re the forum cool guys. They let them treat people bad and they can say whatever they want and nothing happens to them!

Sorry dawg but I gotta stick up for my dawg Aminu
Yet you whine if someone calls your posts silly. A mod says why your posts could be perceived as arrogant and then you claim they simply called you "arrogant"... you complain about witch hunts and unequal treatment and all this...

And then you act like someone is being overly-sensitive because they dont want to talk to you because you told them to "stfu"?

Haha.

I didn’t tell him to stfu, I told his posts to shut the fuck up.

See. Now it’s “civil” just like you.

I’m not whining, I couldn’t care less if you call me “silly” lol

just pointing out blatant hypocrisy.

Nah, that's not how it works buddy. You have to specify that you're talking about someone else's posts.

And way to completely miss the point. Smh.

I just specified.

You have no point. You just couch insults in passive-aggressive ways to avoid technically violating the rules. Congratulations

I feel you. They take this forum serious and show a lack of getting a life

Your good bro. Don’t let them bully you. Just stay true to yourself they have no life

We show a lack of getting a life.. I actually found that phrasing pretty funny.

Nah, you gotta specify when you say it. Learn the forum, then post.

And you can post/say something objectively dumb, then you can post/say something that's objectively smart. No one can be dumb AND smart.

I never said my observation that it sounded quiet on tv proved anything (I said the opposite, numerous times), I’ve just been explaining the obvious to you - because you seem to have a very hard time grasping that your subjective opinion of what happened at the game isn’t conclusive as to what actually happened.

No shit. Thanks captain obvious. Thats the whole point.
Ive read many people here saying it was loud. Louder than other games.
You shouldn't be gauging it against other stadiums. Gauge it against other blazer games and to do that you would need to be there.

Most stadiums pump noise man.

Hey forum. For those who have been to more than one game and was at this one, was the crowd louder in this one than in others?
Yes?
So they were more energetic than in other games?
Yes?
Case closed.
Conversation over. Everything else is subjective and a waste of time.
