Without him, this series would be over. We desperately needed him shooting and he delivered. He's also rebounded the ball well and played good defense. He's our MVP so far tonight.
 
I don't think we need a third star or ball-handler to solve the problem of teams doubling Dame. We just need to practice passing and finding an open man, preferable one who is at the basket.

Which is what we did at the beginning of the second quarter when we started scoring at the rim on every play.

It was a dumb idea from the beginning. Taking the ball out of Dame and CJ's hands diminishes their value. If you wanted a 3rd ball handler, the most basic thing he needs to be able to do is hit an open shot, which Turner cannot.

I agree. Which is why we were all puzzled when we outbid.... no one and threw a huge bundle of money at him.

If Dame wants to play as badly as he did last game, he has to shoot 3/14 in the second half.

You don't need a 3rd ball handler no. but you do need to keep the defense honest by whomever they're leaving to double. Hitting shots.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but we don't get shit and it seems half the time the refs do call a foul on them it actually stops us from getting an easy look, or they actually wipe away a shot and won't give us continuation.
 
We shot 2 FTs this game in the first half, 4 last game in the first half. I really doubt you can find a playoff game that a team shot a total of 6 FTs in the first half of the first two games ever.

And it's not like we're just standing outside casting 3s the whole time.
 
As long as you at least try to dunk, you will get at least foul shots.
 
2nd game in a row our guards are getting out-played. That is not a recipe for success for this team.
 
They're just picking us apart at the rim. Making it look too easy.
