Well what concerns me is he is even more secretive and quiet than lamarcus Aldridge but he is one of the best two way players in the league, I would definitely take him for cj
 
Bad matchup or not. The Blazers still didn’t play well this series. Would like to see them win a game playing well.

Mirotic is exactly the type of player we needed. We could’ve dumped a contract on Chicago as well. When you dare our role players to shoot, most of the time you’ll win. We desperately need to find better shooters this summer.

I could careless about pushing away Dame if trading his buddies to improve the team does that. People act like he’s the second coming or something. He’s my favorite Blazer, but mostly by default. Can you imagine what Blazer fans would think about a player like Kobe or Jordan if we ever got one:)

Not a bad idea. Acquire him cheap. Let him run up his stats in our system and flip him for a real pillar type player in a year or two.

Oh I know. But why would Pops take CJ? What does CJ bring to the team that Kawhi doesn't?

It would take a Dame trade to get Leonard. Not CJ. Unless you include a lot of cash and picks.
 
Game 2 is the key game in each of these series. You don't see any adjustments in that one, you won't make any for game 3.

Can we forfeit game 4?

That’s your opinion... you don’t know what CJ brings back in trade... even a slightly lesser talent may be a better fit and improve this team. Doing nothing is not an answer and only CJ has value to bring back a difference maker

You say that like it's a fact. The Pelicans offered a better crap contract (less money than Meyers would've been) and what everyone thought would be a much higher 1st round pick since Cousins was out. The Bulls still ended up taking the better deal from NoLa. Asik has less time on his deal of guaranteed money and they got the 22nd pick instead of the 24th from us.

Edit: The real story would've been if we offered the TPE and a 1st for Mirotic so they wouldn't have had to take on a bad contract. However, they would have been under the floor so it wouldn't have really even saved them that much money.
