Do you believe the Blazers will steal (at least) one game in New Orleans?

Someone on BE said a 3rd seeded team hasn't been swept since 1978, how can you justify bringing the coach or gm back if that happens?

Not going to happen
They can beat this team. Not 4 times in a row but they can beat this team. Yes this series is pretty much over but i would like to see a nothing to lose effort and some 3's raining in New Orleans. It would be fun to watch. And yes i will watch the next game.

I can't remember feeling this demoralized going into game 4 of any playoff series. Stotts has been out coached so thoroughly and I want him fired before game 4. I just can't imagine us winning game 4 the way we have played the last 3 games and it doens't seem like something is just going to "click" and we will look better.

C'mon Chris, think positive. Time for the Pels to start missing shots.
That is another thing. They have been absolutely lights out shooting.
Another things is it has seemed like crazy bounces have just gone their way over and over again. Could be hustle but it's not what it has looked like. Just crazy lucky bounces.

I feel like this 3rd seed is much different. The difference between the 3rd seed and 8th seed was only a couple games. It was close. Any team from 3-8 could of been the 3rd seed, it was so close

You say that like it's a fact. The Pelicans offered a better crap contract (less money than Meyers would've been) and what everyone thought would be a much higher 1st round pick since Cousins was out. The Bulls still ended up taking the better deal from NoLa. Asik has less time on his deal of guaranteed money and they got the 22nd pick instead of the 24th from us.

Edit: The real story would've been if we offered the TPE and a 1st for Mirotic so they wouldn't have had to take on a bad contract. However, they would have been under the floor so it wouldn't have really even saved them that much money.

Asik makes more than Meyers next year. He’s got a team option the following year but still has money guaranteed. Chicago would be better served holding onto him as an expiring contract they could use in a trade.

And Asik is a lost cause on the court. Meyers could still play, especially on a rebuilding team like Chicago.

Dame is a special dude. Stands up and takes the questions straight on. No whining, no disrespecting the reports like so many, even coaches do. Remember, he's only 27. He works on his game to get better. I don't doubt that he WILL get better. He's family, and I will defend him to the end.

Good news, tomorrow is 4/20! I understand there is something you use to celebrate this holiday that causes short term memory loss. I could really use some short term memory loss.
I don't even smoke and I know that 4/20 brings nothing but healing. Go out and smoke everybody. BE A REAL AMERICAN!

We only have ourselves to blame. This is the same defensive scheme that WE used on Harden and Paul in the last Houston game. I remember a quote from Harden after the game mentioning that he had never seen that coverage before and that they will work on how to attack it, because teams will probably do that in the playoffs.
We didn't work on it at all.

We also don't have a Chris Paul or an offensive genius as our head coach

Hopefully?

Pulling for you.

I believe mirotic has shown you the last three games how he would help us. Look how dude is playing

Honestly was waiting for Mirotic to have a game like this. He was quiet the first 2 games, but he's been playing big since March.

Thats the sucky part about playing for a smaller market. Guys are always underrated. Ya'll seem shocked Niko could do this. lol

Damian Lillard in this series:

14 Turnovers
13 Assists

50 Points
53 Shots

B b b but he’s getting blitzed and hedged in the P&R so it’s a free pass according to some on this board.

Get real. Guy thinks he’s 1st team All NBA and those are his numbers. No excuse. Aminu and CJ are 17/32 tonight with 43 points. Give the ball up to get it back. Learn to work without the ball im your hands. If he doesn’t have the ball he’s just standing around letting Rondo face guard him. Embarrassing.
Way too ignore my post before this... Pathetic.

"Give the ball up", "He's standing around"...

It's our system. It doesn't put Lillard in a position to succeed against double teams. He's never off the ball, and there's no pplays designed to free him up. He does give the ball up but he doesn't have enough shooters around him and it's on him to constantly create. It's a SYSTEM issue.

You're sitting here shit-posting, while failing to see how tough of a position Stotts puts Dame in, and how our system, combined with a good gameplan from New Orleans, leaves him with no chance at success during this series.

But you won't break down the actual game with me, it's just basic stuff like "He's standing.." and "Give it up get it back". Everyone's standing, and once he "gets it back", how is he in any more of a position to succeed than he was before? Our offensive system is seriously flawed, and Dame is the only reason we aren't a bottom 5 worst team the league.

I think pair thought his year this season was a fluke while instead, I think he's legitimately one of the most improved players in the NBA.
