You’re lost. I’m 2011, we won games 3 & 4 at home but that didn’t give us momentum going to Dallas in Game 5. OKC won’t have momentum going into Game 5 on the road if they’re 2-2 because I don’t think there is such a thing as momentum. We didn’t have momentum after game 2 of this series. In all the scenarios, I don’t believe there was momentum after two home wins.
Were all free to have opinions, but I think I disagree with your assertion there is no such as thing as momentum. The year the spurs beat miami what was that 5 years ago now? I thought that was a team that just had so much momentum it was like everything that could to right for them did go right them.

We won at HOME then went on the ROAD.

Wed win on the ROAD and come HOME.

Why the hell do you always ignore context to try and argue some BS?
Doesn’t matter where the games are played. I don’t believe there is momentum in playoffs.

Yes it was 2014. I disagree with you but that’s cool. There are more examples of teams winning a couple home games and that having no impact on what happens in the next game. Score is 0-0 again. Spurs won that year because they were better by a mile. In my opinion.

I think both things matter but I'm also sort of superstitious about the Blazers...it's why I stopped doing the prediction game...

Just hope we stay poised and balanced and have a deep run

Of course there are examples of just about everything, we could probably go back and forth for a while. I dont believe winning a couple games means you’ll win the next, just think some times teams get really hot or cold and it can carry over between games.
Say OKC wins tomorrow that doesnt guarantee anything for game 5, I agree to that extent.

That’s all I’m saying.

Our coach disagrees with me so maybe tomorrow’s game IS important!!

“Certainly within a game there is momentum,” Portland Coach Terry Stotts said. “From game to game, I do believe there is … but I do believe it’s tenuous.

“Momentum can be tenuous either way. You go along and don’t know when you’re going to get a win and then you beat the best team in the league, that can change your fortunes. You can be on a win streak and then lose one -- you think you have momentum and then all of a sudden you lose one.

J.A. Adande agrees with me in 2010:

“Momentum is a myth. It doesn't exist in the playoffs. For an example, look no further than Ray Allen's 3-point-shooting accuracy, which went from record-breaking in Game 2 to futile in Game 3. If there were such a thing as momentum, how could a man go from an all-time display of marksmanship to a complete inability to put the ball through the hoop in less than 48 hours?”

Still avoided the context I tried to spell out for you

Who gives af what J.A. Adande thinks lmao.

You're arguing a small part of a post just to be a pest.

If we don't give a fuck what Adande thinks, a man with decades of experience covering sports, why on earth should we give a fuck what you think? He knows far more about the history of the NBA that you do. He and I both do.

Here's a controversial question for game 4....should we actually start Meyers and bring Enes off the bench...let Meyers get the early fouls?

Not a bad idea but I think we'll stick with the plan that won us 15 of our last 19 games.

fair enough but only the last two games has Enes had a gimpy shooting hand...game 3 he went to his left hand almost everytime

Well he says he's okay. We'll see what happens. I love Meyers though and won't complain about him playing. I feel like we need to get him more shots when he's out there though.

Great question! Why the fuck do you cling onto everything I say?

Good point. I'm considering putting you on ignore. That would solve that. It would make this forum much more pleasant for me. You're the only guy I have a problem with.

You didnt answer my question.

Whatever would stop you from incessantly arguing every little thing I say.

I like Adande. He seems to be pretty solid.
