Well the game was lost in the 1st QT we play nearly even the last 3 QT. Dame Aminu Vonleh all came to play. Olshey need hard look at this roster and Stotts needs to put his input in about this team.

If his employment at TNT is "disgusting" to you, what does our president make you feel like? Oh wait. Oops

Our President never sexually assaulted anyone. You fail.

It's kind of sad this was the last KGW game ever, no more antenna games.

So now it's stream or nothing, huh? This was one of the only reasons why I even had an antennae anyways. Might as well throw it out.

Not seeing any connection.

He's just being a troll. Some people hate the President so much that they just can't help but bring their immature rantings into a basketball thread. Like a fucking child.

It's okay. I shouldn't have gone there.

But the level of hypocrisy is hilarious, and a bit scary.

No.

Fuck Aminu. He hates gay people and is also awful on the court despite his points scored.

I didn't like gay people as a teen. Granted my only exposure was at the washington county fair.
By 14 year old boy, who the girl I was dating brought along because she was his babysitter.
The whole time he kept putting his hands on my shoulders, and trying to get me to give him a piggyback ride.
I told him to stop, yet he continued. Eventually ended up tossing him off my back and onto his ass. He took off crying.
Frankly I found it completely inappropriate considering it was the first time I met him. The only thing I knew about him other than his name, is that he identified as gay.
However due to this boy, I thought all gay males were that way until I had a flaming-gay male as a co-worker.

I don't think I should be held accountable for my thoughts as a teen/young adult/adult. Due to the exposure I had at 17.
Neither should Aminu imo.

No shame in losing to the best team in the NBA. No shame in getting swept by the best team in the NBA, when you barely scraped into the eighth seed, after being tenth or lower most of the season; and the only reason you even made it to the playoffs is out injured.

We had only 1 starter returning last year and lost tons of talent. My 23 win prediction was right in line with all the national writers and Vegas.....not a very unrealistic prediction to tell you the truth. Team played great and as a Blazer fan was very happy about it. I got killed for my prediction, but didn't care. My boys crushed my expectations. Shit I even told Dame what my prediction was.

As far as you attacking me and my career....... why does this even come in to play here. I'm very content with what I do, make a great living and love it. You haven't been here long enough to probably even understand my relationship with all the nerds on here. And insecurity is the LAST thing I'd ever have problem with.

I love my team and bust on guys who sometimes go a little overboard on here with the expectations. Thinking we will win the god damn championship every season and win 64 games with little talent doesn't make you or anybody more of a fan than somebody who tames their expectations. Gets frustrating on here having people put Dame and CJ and others on blast after a loss we had no chance at winning.

Step back and chill with the attacks young man, we are all Blazer fans here.
Your career comes into play because you brag about it a little too much when you're in the middle of flame wars with other posters. It is a great job and you're very good at it, but you've made sure people know.

So being realistic is predicting what every other idiot expert predicts? You're still using the most basic of narratives to defend the "23 wins" prediction, which was the same narrative that was used by the experts that don't even know where Portland is.

well thanks for another fun season guys. it was more or less a letdown year after what we accomplished last year, but I will always cheer for the Blazers until I die. Hopefully we have some tricks up our sleeve come draft day. Take care everyone :D

In my opinion, this off season will be more important than the 2014 off season with LA's free agency. Need a solid 3 and D guy on the wing and some proven vets. Gotta think Neil knows that if he fucks this one up he's gone next year.

Without proper valet parking he's probably gone already.

Yes, because #64 wins just screams ' I didn't care'.

I called you a hypocrite for calling people on here nerds and geeks when you're probably the biggest nerd on this forum because of the job you have and the fact you troll people about being geeks and nerds does mean you are insecure. Whether you can see it or not. Next, I never directly attacked your career choice. In fact, I would LOVE to be able to do what you do for a living. It sounds really cool. I just don't like the other stuff, like you thinking you are above us or better than us because of the job you have.

I love my team and bust on guys who sometimes go a little overboard on here with the expectations.

Who are you to decide what is a 'little overboard?' Did a moderator make you Lord of what is realistic? Everyone has different levels of passion for this team and if someone has a bit more 'excitement' than others do that doesn't mean they should be belittled and demeaned for it.

Step back and chill with the attacks young man, we are all Blazer fans here.

You should practice your own advice and stop attacking people on here because it is as you said, we are all Blazers fans here. Right?

R.I.P. City.

This team is not a healthy Nurkic away from the Warriors. They're a healthy Nurkic plus a bunch of good two-way players away from being able to compete seriously.

Hopefully, the thrashing that we got will fuel our players to work on their game and get a lot better in the summer.

As Lillard says, "Thanks for the motivation."

That's only 18 points a game, about what Nurk scores. :ghoti:

The talent disparity is a gulf that can't be bridged with just hard work. There's a certain "you must be this tall to ride the ride" element that most of our roster doesn't reach.

True. But I'm hoping Olshey can make some magic happen in the summer, either through trades or the draft to obtain significant talent. He pulled off a phenomenal trade with Nurkic. The question is, can he do it again?

While this season wasn't what I expected to be at the beginning, I am still very happy that we made the playoffs, regardless of the outcome. This was a valuable experience for all the guys. At the very least, it puts an even bigger chip on Dame's shoulders and fuels the fire in his gut to be the best. I hope the rest of the team uses this playoff series to work on the thing's they are deficient in so as not to get punked again like they did against this Warriors' team next year.

Go get Butler for however many picks and assets it takes and draft Jordan Bell with a late first round or second round and throw him on the bench to develop with our new big man and defensive coaches until he is ready to start.

I hope the Warriors do win the Championship this year because it will be so much sweeter when Dame, Nurkic and Butler whoop on Golden State next season .

#positivethoughts

Now to begin the roller coaster ride that is being a Mariners fan. (Yeah Yeah Yeah @EL PRESIDENTE, we know, FUCK SEATTLE.:tongue2:)

What's scary about the Nurk trade, was I truly believe NO thought the asset we were getting was the draft pick. While Nurk was the throw in

I don't want a chip on Dames shoulder. I'd rather see him defer to the post first on offense, rather than having "something to prove" on offense

I have only brought my job up when people try to use it to crack on me for what I do for some reason. Go look. They try putting me on blast and I just set them straight. Go look, I've never started a post off talking about my career. I assumed we would suck when we lost 4 starters and 6 of our best 10 players, imagine that. Because it just so happens to coincide with "experts" isn't on me. I get absolutely grilled for a year after because of it. They proved me wrong and I was very cool with it. This year I nail the prediction an crack on those who predicted 50 and even 60+ wins. Just giving guys back what they were tossing my way. I thinks that pretty fair.

Sly, you know what's crazy.....I used to get killed on here for NEVER saying anything bad about the Blazers......Not keeping it real and being a corporate yes man. Oh how the tides have turned huh? All the new nerds do is hate on me for NEVER being positive and always being negative.

Youre right, you don't bring it up. Some people don't see the start though, and to them it would come across as bragging, I guess.
