Has Stotts outcoached Donovan this series as much as Gentry did Stotts last year?

I guess Demers was just talking about TPFKATHCP and Westbrook a few minutes ago. I don’t even know what station he’s on. I don’t fo the local sports talk thing. I need to call and see what this kid said about me!!!!

There have been times this season the Blazers have played with too little emotion and sleep-walked their way into losing games they could/should have won. By contrast, OKC is sometimes TOO emotional. Uncontrolled emotion is counter-productive, especially under the play-off spot-light. Donavan is (IMHO) doing a horrible job with their roster.

I'd rather play the Spurs. Without Nurk, Jokic is a huge problem. Against the Spurs we can out Aminu on Aldridge and he'll do a decent job. They don't have anyone scary at center. I think we match up well better against them than Denver.

But let's worry about closing this series first
SA's bigs also dont have the footspeed to guard the pick n roll well. Just look at Adams in this series.

Don't read this if you have a weak stomach.

Lucia has never been a serious hunter, more chase and pounce that would occasionally land prey.

She just brought in a live snake and consumed the entire thing on my kitchen rug. I take this as an omen that Blazers will consume the OKC snakes until nothing is left but three drops of blood on the Moda Center floor.

In reference to the coaching thing. I for whatever reason don't know if I think Donavon's at fault for this. I said this going into the series, Stotts takes a lot of heat for not “coaching” Dame and CJ, mostly reining in their shot selection. OKC is basically ran by PG13 and Russ, I don't think Donavon has much say in anything they do. I don't think Pop could coach that team I really don’t. Russ and PG are gonna do what they want. That said to Stotts credit, they've tried some different things and Dame and CJ are attacking traps much better. Defensively the players are mostly locked into the gameplan. Its nice to see him actually having a good series, I think the next series will be much more a gauge of if Stotts has gotten better as a coach though.

The Blazers Really Want Russell Westbrook To Keep Shooting

Russell Westbrook’s jumper has never been his best friend, but the relationship between the two has become particularly standoffish in the Thunder’s first-round playoff series against the Blazers. Westbrook keeps asking his jumper if he wouldn’t mind pitching in this time around, maybe help him advance out of the first round for once, and his jumper just keeps rolling its eyes and leaving the house without saying goodbye.

Unfortunately for Westbrook, the Blazers know exactly how to pick at the scabs covering an old and wounded relationship. Throughout last night’s Game 4 victory, the Blazers repeatedly reminded everyone on the floor that Westbrook had an open invitation to shoot the ball whenever he wanted. Thunder beat writer Royce Young noticed as much late in the fourth quarter:

Here’s a clip of the shot in question:

And here’s another, from a few minutes earlier in the game, in which you can clearly hear someone exhorting Damian Lillard to back up and let Westbrook fire away:

Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu received similar instructions. Young reported that when Aminu was getting ready to check back into the game during the fourth quarter, an assistant coach pulled him aside and reminded him not to help on Westbrook and to let him shoot.

Westbrook shot 5-of-21 in Game 4, and went 2-of-7 from three-point range. Aside from a strong shooting performance in Game 3, Westbrook has spent most of this series angrily hucking medicine balls at the rim. That’s bad news for the Thunder; what’s worse news is that Westbrook has never been one to quietly suffer slights from his opponents. Every time the Blazers vocally dare him to shoot the ball, the chances of him chucking 12-15 doomed three pointers in Game 5 goes up by that much.

I'm 100% convinced that the main reason our coaching staff is screaming at everyone to back off Russ is NOT to remind them of what they have to do.

This is funny because you called into that station last night, and tried to brag about people wanting your autograph :biglaugh:

You clearly mistook it for MrsTPFKATHCP….I like that your name contains THC

Maybe it just matters if the sweeper has a nice hat.

Looks like that dude is into s&m

A ticket in the section I bought my ticket in is more than double. Mine was $105 (pre-fees), to $240. I would never have gone if the price was $250+, so I feel very fortunate.

The fees are more than the ticket?

Absolutely. They are doing it to get into his head. It's working from every indication.

Terry Stotts owns real estate in Westbrook's psyche; remember when he very very loudly had Wes switch with Dame so Wes could guard Russ, which made him go off on this bricklaying tear? Delightful!

I hate everything about OKC's franchise, the only cool thing about them is how they ALL wear their monochromatic t-shirt during playoffs games.

It's such a good looking effect and i think it's also makes the opposing team a little bit unconfortable-

So i always wondered why Portland fans don't wear their free t-shirt during playoffs games, it would be so cool to see all fans in the Rose Garden with red t-shirt, it would look like hell for the opposing team!

Portland fans like rocking their jerseys instead of some basic T-Shirt.

You know, this has been brought up what, 3, 4, 5 times very recently? This is the BEST answer I've seen! Makes sense to me....
