In your opinion, was Lillard's performance in Game 5 the best ever in an NBA Playoff game?

Many times this season I felt the team had quit on Stotts. It was like a war between that and Dame's awesome leadership that kept us afloat.

Carmelo Anthony has always been trash, but he is not even an NBA player any more. Signing him was a joke. It was always obvious he couldn’t compete as a 4 in the playoffs and would be eaten alive by people half his age in the paint. He allowed about 400 offense rebounds this series. But at least blazer fans got a cheap thrill of a “legend*” playing on our team.

*”legend” status comes from having the worst playoff record of any NBA player in history

I'd like to see him play under a a different coach that focuses on the fundamentals

I think the logic was, and I agree with it... Nurk will foul out way to soon guarding Jokic, protecting the paint AND picking up offensive fouls (like he did today on one of his few rolls to the hoop). And we can’t survive defensively without Nurk on Jokic. But I do love having the offense flow through Nurk a lot.

I could understand that. I'm not sure he's coachable, first of all. Second of all, if the changes happen in the front office and coach, I'm not sure the new guard will want him. Does he give you enough to be worth the uncertainty? I think probably not.

Dame was godly, CJ was atrocious. Nurk's raw stats weren't mind-blowing, but his impact was huge when you look at +/-

It is truly unbelievable that the Blazers lost this series. No Murray, No Barton, No Dozier and the Blazers lost? Christsake, they got the best player in the league and they lost? What a bunch of chumps. I am glad they lost because I get sick of reading and hearing about how good they are and how there is never any mention of all the games they have won when the other team does not have its best players. Yeah, the Blazers went thru their injury times. But, they had the whole squad for this series against an extremely depleted Nugget team and they lost.

If Lillard had any brains, he would get away from this team asap. What a disaster they are!!! How the hell could they lose to the half-ass Nugget team without its point guards. Frankly, I am glad the Blazers lost, but I am totally amazed the depleted Nuggets knocked their over-hyped asses all over the court. Good for Denver!!!!!

I'm not watching the post game interviews because I'm just too depressed, but does Dame give the impression changes need to be made? Does he still want to be here in Portland based on his answers or his mood or whatever.

To me it didn’t seem low key. He was talking about how we should see change in a couple days.

Quick asked him why it seems like their will be change. He said this is a talented roster and we continue to under achieve

I'm definitely not a fan of Stotts but I like a player who also looks at himself. Nurk led the team in turnovers per game in this series. Tonight he was slow and got pushed around on rebounds. He definitely needs to work on his footwork and where he holds the ball and learn when to slow down and when to go quicker.

I would gladly trade for a more mobile Center like Clint Capela or Myles Turner. Not saying that’s fair trade straight across but I’d be targeting those kinds of players. With that said, it will be interesting to watch Nurk perform under a different coach.
