My guess is the NBA has rightly figured out that while Portland might win this series, we'll get creamed in the WCF. As weird as it sounds, Denver may lose to us but they stand a better chance of avoiding a sweep against GS. The problems Jokic presents plus the altitude of Denver just seems like it'd present more problems, and lead to at least one or two losses for GS.
What are you talking about?

We beat GS twice this year.

What...

Lol. I hear what you're saying. However, it works PERFECT for the negative, troll poster, that doesn't have anything (or rarely) constructive to add to a conversation. Just here to stir the pot. Screw that. I come here to have fun conversations, and fully expect to enjoy my time here. If I were subjected to all of the negativity, I would just leave again. Go somewhere that is more fun. Life is too short, to spend any time on something that is not enjoyable. At least that's how I feel about it.
The negative troll posters are meaningful to me. I take put my angst and frustration on them whe. they inevitably post something trolly. Especially the one guy whos been banned 6 times and for some reason isnt getting banned again... Its therapeutic for me.

Yeah, I hear that and I think blue9 brought up a good point too. I usually just skim the "negative" stuff and don't bother to respond to it. So yeah I get it, it's one of those arguments that I think understand both sides of.
The negative BS annoys me to no end, especially during a game. I dont know how to not let it annoy me. Thing is, it annoys a lot of other people too, so I dont worry about it.

It's not a popular message on this board, I understand, but without a healthy Nurkic and with Kanter and Harkless limping around, I just don't see how Portland enters the next round with anything left in the tank. If Denver somehow wins this series, I don't think it's a controversial opinion among non-Blazers fans that their young legs are a better match for the Warriors.

That said, I posted this before that epic Game 3. I think there's a building narrative in the NBA about Portland's amazing playoff run. If we make the WCF, I think viewership numbers for Game 1 and Game 3 (when we have home court) are going to be fantastic.

I think the reffing being much fairer in this last game probably reflects this growing reality. Whoever plays GS is going to lose, but Portland is a more compelling story.

Its jot popular because it doesnt make sense.

Harkless will heal. Its a sprained ankle that he was able to play on in Game 3.

Kanter has been very effective even with his injury.

Every team is gonna be banged up and hurting.

Denver, if anything, will be more tired than us due to a 7-game 1st Round Series. Portland is in arguably better shape.

Portland also has more experience. Portland has also had success against GS this season.

Also, I dont think the NBA tells its refs to ref for a certain team.

Yes, Denver's star is in such a great shape too, great legs I'm sure
