The goon part might come in handy against Bogut. I can't lie I wouldn't mind seeing that guy get clocked. But not because our guy started shit. But because our guy won't take any. Combine his goondom with the fact Varajao is one of the pre-eminent flop artists in the history of the NBA, and I'm really glad he got cut.

Kaman nullifies anything Varajao would have brought to the team. I'm glad we waived him.
 
I truly hope we can win the rebounding battle today. Need big games out of everybody if want to steal one on their court.
 
I hope we can win tonight, need us to get to a game six. If so, I am making travel plans to attend that game. Can't make it before then.

The worst part about the awesome lightning storm right now is it's fucking my dish reception.
 
Since a certain head coach went in different direction I am reposting what I said in the Game 1 thread(will also post in the FU thread and all game threads in this series.) With one alteration and one emphasized.


Keys to advancing to the Western Conference Finals:

Harkless guards Thompson
Push the ball up the court, make or miss
Lillard and McCollum get to the FT line ten times each
Crabbe, Harkless, Hendo and Aminu need to combine for 45 points(I may have been a tad overzealous with asking for 65 points)
Plumlee needs to average 15 rebounds
45% from the 3 point line

Do all or most of these things and The Portland Trail Blazers will be hosting games in the Western Conference Finals!
 
We could lose every game the rest of the way, but if we steal this game tonight, I'll feel like this series was an accomplishment. It's already an accomplishment that we're here in the first place.
