Harkless has to stay out of foul trouble. He has been the only player to slow Murray. Once he ends up off of Murray or out of the game we get torched because Murray , jokic, and milsap are all mismatches for them offensively. I called it. Dame has been terrible in FT all play offs actually the last 3 games before end of regular season he started sucking in play offs

god damn that is a stupid fucking post. Dame is shooting 84% on FT's in the playoffs. Yeah, it's not as good as the regular season, but at least he's fucking getting to the foul line. He's made 61 FT's in the playoffs. CJ & Kanter are next at 23 each. Dame has made 15 more FT's than those two combined

If anyone could. Portland is embarrassing itself giving up offensive rebounds. There have been Denver possessions where they get two or three offensive rebounds. A small lineup only works if they can box out and effectively gang-rebound...Portland can't, it seems.

And Zach Collins isn't really providing anything. A couple of nice blocks, but he's a non-entity on offense and not really doing much on the boards.

This. Can't blame 14 turn overs and missed FTs on the refs. They did us no favors, but this loss is on us.

I'm not saying that as the players did their job too. Stotts definitely deserves criticism for not getting looks for Seth as he was cooking, but I also saw hero ball from our backcourt, giving up WAYYY too many rebounds, missed FTs, Harkless not showing up, etc. That's not ALL on Stotts as your second post points out. Players shit the bed too.

I for one don't think the series is over because it's quite possible to win another one in Denver.

It is pretty unreasonable to be bitter considering we got to watch an incredible first series, and at worst will have gotten to watch 6 games in the WCSF..especially considering losing Nurk and Enes being banged up


At the same time im extremely bitter because we just had a team coming off a heartbreaking loss on the ropes at half time and we came out and played one of the worst quarters of basketball we've played all season. This. Stotts has lacked the ability to call DT on ANY good opponent. It's my biggest complaint against him, among many. He should be fired just on that alone.
