This might be the best post in the history of S2. Straight up logic and you guys are putting this kid on blast? Funny how love for the pinwheel flushes all (what little there might be) common sense form the body! Hope our boys win tonight, but this one will be tough.
Almost 35,000 posts on this site and you still have not learned a thing?

What exactly do you mean by this? This guy posted exactly whats going on. Nothing but facts and you tear him apart? Did I miss something?

Really just having fun. I actually totally agree that this will be a very big task to get a win tonight. Sometimes it just comes out in print a bit harsh. You can't see a big grin on my face when i am typing. Dubs fan has every right to say what he is saying. The Warriors are playing great this year and if he has been a fan for a long time then even more so. They have been waiting a long time to be successful.

We've been waiting longer

I'll tell you what, as much as I would love to win this series if my consolation prize is stomping the shit out of them on their homecourt WITH Steph and then losing in game 7 I would gladly ride off into off season with a HUGE smile on my face. May be a long shot but just the thought of it is great.

To be fair, with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin out, it was unlikely that the Clippers would have went on. And winning 4 in a row including playing at Oracle after getting beat there easily 2 times without Curry? You may have been overestimating their chances. Home court matters and the Warriors only lost 2 games at home all season.
Spurs only lost once at home this season but OKC has won twice there in playoffs.

Yeah yeah and we're only going to win 23 games and Dame is our only legit starter, yadda, yadda, yadda. Here are some facts. We're the only team to beat the Warriors twice this year. The Blazers have been up 15+ in the last three games. Warriors needed a record setting miracle from Curry to beat us in Game 4. We've beaten the Warriors with Curry by 32. There are a ton of reasons to believe in the Blazers.

I don't have a lot of hope for tonight but I've really enjoyed this series. While the ultimate goal is for Portland to win a championship, they're not going to this year. But I like what we seem more relevant to the national press and that people are seeing "the 2nd best backcourt in the NBA" and realizing that the Blazers are a really fun team to watch. I love that the two teams play similar styles with lots of outside shooting and high scores and... :dupnoevil:I really like the Warriors when they're not playing us and want them to repeat.

I'm feeling pretty confident our Blazers took the Warriors antics from the last game personally and will come out strong in the 1st quarter without mercy. I've said it in a different thread, Warriors better be ready for their ass whipping. Blazers are bringing the series back to Portland, baby!

Now THIS is the best post, HCP.

This is a great post.

You're being ironic to explain irony hahaha
I wonder if LMA thinks he made a bad decision at this point. I know our team would be completely different if he decided to sign here, but it has to be a thought he has pondered. I'm stoked that he didn't sign, he did us a huge favor in my opinion, but it still has to be something he thinks about

Big reason I want to win tonight is so that Aldridge gets eliminated before Dame.
Alright - got my lucky Blazers gear on, and stepping out for the night. Go Blazers!

Pics or it didn't happen.

This thing that keeps getting quoted, that "the Blazers are the only team to beat the Warriors 2 times this year" confuses me.

Didn't we only beat them 1 time in the regular season? Aren't we one of only two teams to play them in the post season? Didn't the Blazers have 4 extra tries to beat them 1 extra time (=2 total)?

I don't get it. :dunno:

Why are you confused? The statement is true. We are the only team to beat them twice.

Actually if we count preseason...we beat them 3 times

And BBert- that could hold. If they beat us, then beat Thunder in 5 or less, and Cavs in 5 or less, we'll be the only team to have beaten them twice.

That would be amazing! We are built to be a contender for years to come and I feel that if we stay on this current up swing we will surpass them next year. But if they pull Durant out of their ass this off season, if maybe a year or teem longer. I do think though that we have an equal shot at this point in landing Durant. Time will tell!
