McCollum is 10 times the crunch-time shooter that Lillard is. Lillard just lost us another game with missed layups and long shots that don't even hit the hoop, in the last 3 minutes, as he has so many times. It's the coaches' fault for goading him to be The Man instead of setting up plays at the end of games.
I do think the coaches have to take some responsibility; just as they should have for allowing Aldridge to be a jump shooter and not play defense.

Lillard hurt his right hand. It's obvious; after he hurt his right hand they started using him as a decoy. Any shooting he was doing after that was more about trying to manufacture points through free throws.

What killed us tonight was the FT shooting. That was 7 or 8 points right there, down the drain. And everyone except Dame gets a piece of that pie.

Anyways.......oh well. I'm still a fan for LIFE. RipCity Always! Let's get our Big in FA and kick some ass next year. So proud of this team.

GO RIP CITY!

I am glad Lillard struggled with his shot a little actually. He will come back next year with that fixed for sure. He is the last person to rest on his laurels.
I don't think there is anything wrong with his shot. He's a guy nooooobody wants to leave open. But late in he 4th, he does force shots that aren't there. We didn't put up 116 points by him forcing up a ton of bad shots, so why start doing that at the end of the game?

Great series by the Blazers they gave Golden State everything they could bargain for in this series. The differnce was experience but we are one or two key acquisition this summer and we be right there. Golden state should worry in next round. This playoffs was the best thing for this franchise one it shows who will step in big games and two it should give us the confidence they can play anyone.

How about we just let them play the game. I really don't give a FLYING FUCK about your statistics and logical decision making. This is a FUCKING BLAZER forum. So take your bullshit somewhere else until this game is over. Oh yeah and if by chance the Blazers happen to win this game you better show your Fucking Face and talk all about your 'Logical Decision' making and statistics.
I will be all gracious in the way i treat you then :comppunch:
So logic and statistics are still correct. It's rare for the DUBS to lose at home and Portland loses more on the road than they win.
Great game and I'm glad it was competitive. The Blazers played like their season was on the line and Lilliard and McCollum played really well. Good luck next year and hopefully management can fill in some holes where the statistics showed where there may be issues.

Well we have a lot of older members... Maybe a nice game of softball, easier on the knees lol

I'm down with that. I'm obese and out of shape anyways, lol. And I was a 3 time Softball Champion as a kid.

And by Champion, I mean I was a winner of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in a league of only 3 teams.
