GTFO4-1 in a series isn't incredibly close. It was a fun series, but you gotta play all 4 quarters down to the wire, not just 3 3/4. If it's OKC, not worried at all since we swept them. If it's San Antonio, we've beaten them at home and we have home court advantage. Outta be a good division final.
His opening statement was more optimistic but equally measured.CJ looks pissed talking about moral victories. "There is no trophy given for competing and losing."
DAMN.
Even if you accomplish the west...the Cavs are going to steamroll you the way they are playing right now4-1 in a series isn't incredibly close. "That might have been the closest five-game series of all time" - Klay Thompson
Yeah and out of those 4 wins 3 were extremely tight affairs. You cannot just look at the final result of series and take assumptions from there. Blazers matched you in all but 1 games and this was a Blazers team with close to zero experience. Add some more years to the team and I guarantee they don't drop those leads in Game 2 and 4 and they keep more composure in the final minute of 5.4-1 in a series isn't incredibly close. They will be giving Blazers credit. They made them sweat for it and properly sweat.Did he really say that?
Props where props is given.
Finally!LAY ONE ON ME BIG FELLA!
Maybe got a little coaching before the interview?Draymond Green - "That crowd (in Portland) was amazing" "I gained a lot of respect for those guys (Blazers)"
Green also named our players by name, Dame, CJ, Crabbe, Aminu and Harkless....

Why would anybody want to watch Klay transmit his super-herpes to some poor girl? Exploitation man. What, you don't watch porn?
Maybe got a little coaching before the interview?
It's just a sudden change of attitude in the interviews. I expected him to continue doubling down on being an ass.Yeah I suppose. I mean, I don't really like Green, but nothing he said before this really irked me anyways. What was he supposed to say?
Personally I would like my players to say the same thing.
You just can't deny the best team won that series for sure. What a great team they have.So logic and statistics are still correct. It's rare for the DUBS to lose at home and Portland loses more on the road than they win.
Great game and I'm glad it was competitive. The Blazers played like their season was on the line and Lilliard and McCollum played really well. Good luck next year and hopefully management can fill in some holes where the statistics showed where there may be issues.
Henderson is an undependable shooting one on one Kobe wannabe. I like him ok, he's crazy athletic, but I never thought he really fit in. I'm sure he would have liked more consistent minutes and a bigger role. Unless he really likes it here I think it unlikely he returns. My biggest disappointment this postseason was Gerald Henderson. He really turned it up during the second half of the season. His mid-range jumpshot was smooth and a reliable source of offense when we couldn't get anything going from the bench. Also was a good candidate to drive to the basket for a momentum shifting dunk. Didn't really see any of that.
Still not a fan, but at least he had respect in his postgame press conference.
He got to play for a special team in a special year, and that'll earn him a better paycheck somewhere. A good experience for all.Henderson is an undependable shooting one on one Kobe wannabe. Both teams played hard.Maybe got a little coaching before the interview?
"I don't believe it."Both teams played hard.
Forced PR garbage. His media secretary probably posted it.
I want to believe that; it came off really poorly but maybe he wanted to rile us up because we were giving them the most fun challenge. He's still a jerk but I'm glad he motivated the team a bit to play harder. Not sure. I don't like Green but he doesn't care much what you think about him, hence the comments from the games before. I reckon he truly likes the current Blazers team, only waited until the end of series to actually praise them.
