I say in game 5 I saw only the 2nd half because of other commitments, but that was a team that quit. They were jogging up and down the court on defense, they’re were stretches of the 3rd that Dame was the only player who even appeared to sort of be interested in basketball, call it whatever you want. Yeah the meltdowns are annoying, and the doom and gloom of emotional fans (I include myself here) is frustrating, but you realize that almost everyone in this forum is not even close to a “bandwagon fan”, would venture to guess almost all us watched game 6. Its called emotions and its a rollercoaster ride at times but thats part of being a fan. Most of us will be here all off season talking about the Blazers, we’ll watch summer league games, get excited for players we know have a long way to go, our time investment just on this site alone lends to a large majority of us are NOT band wagon fans.
Im all good if you want us to eat crow for thinking they would lose game 6. Im down for ribbing us fans who thought they would want less games than they did. Im not down for calling people bandwagon fans because their emotional reaction to a sport and a team isn't the response you like. All sports franchises want fans who are emotionally invested in them, which the Blazers have and that includes the good, the bad and the ugly.
