I went in with my son and we past an end cap with them on it and someone had written homophobic things on quite a few of them. I was so pissed. I put them all in my cart, went to the back of the store, let them know that I was angry someone was able to stand there and write all that, and made sure they were discarded. I'm not surprised they are comfortable yelling out that they are fascist (though they call it being patriots and real Americans) or spewing their fascist ideas. Trump showed them they could do openly without much consequence.

The messed up thing is that they are getting elected and actually putting this fascist shit into law even as they try to defend it by holding up the constitution, which stands against everything they are saying and doing. That they are able to keep it and make it part of the public discourse and are making it reality, that's fucking disconcerting to a great degree.

Not only that, but those cuts were permanent, and the cuts for the middle and lower class were temporary. But being stupid Americans, we saw (slightly) more money in our pockets and got boners and totally ignored the fact it wasn't long term and the very wealthy got a lot more back.

And then a big portion of our country doesn't even seem to care that tax cuts for the rich = raising the tax burden on the middle class (and lower).
