Court ruled company could prevent employees from using health insurance for gender affirming care because owner is Christian. Just once I would like to see someone say they are feeding the hungry because they are Christian.
 
Robinson also denounced Martin Luther King and said civil rights movement was "crap". Without the civil rights movement, he would not be able to vote, let alone hold office, in North Carolina.

It happens all the time... just without much fanfare (which is how it should be).
 
I absolutely agree there are people motivated by faith to do positive things for others. I apologize for being unclear. I was referring to legal actions. Seems whenever someone files a legal case based on being a Christian it is to take rights away, generally from women, LGBTQ people or both.

Well, yeah... the is no need to file a legal action to do good. As Galatians 5:23 says-- "against such things (the fruit of the Spirit) there is no law".

My wife has a coworker who takes 5 ten minute smoke breaks a day. I told her to either START smoking our tell her boss she gets to leave an hour early everyday for covering for her.

I don't know how much of a difference it makes, but Republicans definitely made all the wrong choices for the rebuttal.
They thought she'd be a great contrast to Biden, but it highlighted Biden's experience rather than his age, and somewhat amazingly, made him look like a good public speaker by comparison.

It's obvious that the only reason Biden went down to the border last week was to have the cartels give him a large amount of cocaine so he was animated during his State of the Union address.

Plus, Britt used this as a story to highlight "weak" border policy, but it was our asylum policies that allowed her to come to the U.S.A. to escape the situation that Britt so decries. If Trump is elected, people like the victim in this instance will be stuck in Mexico getting trafficked by the cartel. This victim means nothing to these people. They are the people they want to keep out.

Overall, her rebuttal was nothing but a failure of logic on all accounts, lies that use a victim as an avatar for conservative rage, and creepy acting.

Everyone uses pronouns. Some people demand right to dictate which pronouns others use.

She did not meet face to face with Britt, but with a group of politicians. She was not trafficked by the Cartel or a bunch of immigrants, but by a pimp. It happened in Mexico, not in the US. She has come out against Britt for misusing her story.
