I have so much more faith in the generations that will come after mine than the ones that came before and that is not hyperbole in the least. You can continually pontificate about how bad the younger generations are, but it just reads as you doubling down on the sheer havoc your generation has caused and learned nothing from any of it. Your generations grip on the world has almost come to an end and despite the fact they pulled the ladder up behind them, new ones will be built and the future generations will thrive when this current power system is finally abandoned.
It would be nice to see boomers go out with some grace rather than clutching pearls and setting fires but i just haven’t seen much evidence of that.
Your total lack of knowledge when it comes to the actual history (and I'm not talking the propaganda that has been foisted on us for generations) of this country underscores just how bad our education system has become. Or how a lack of curiosity and interest by your generation in actual truth is helping to kill this country. Conspiracy theories and unhinged screeds by idiots with an ax to grind are all that holds YOUR generation's attention. I won't even try to explain the concept of critical thinking. It is the generation (world wide) that raised us that created the "sheer havoc" (whatever you think that might represent). It's the older Boomers EXACTLY like Trump that have pulled the ladder up (and are trying to eliminate it all together). It's the younger Boomers who have tried to arrest the so called sheer havoc. We were the one's who protested unjust wars. We're the ones who sounded the alarm on climate change (and have actually tried to do something about it). We're the ones who supported a woman's right to choose. The list goes on and on. Just what the fuck has YOUR generation achieved other than a lot of loud and useless whining? Seriously. The future generations are not going to thrive as you predict because you are too willing to drink the Koolaid the Right is selling you as they prepare to bend you over a post and take whatever you have left that hasn't been taken. You (and others like you) put the gun to your own head and are now begging Trump and his cronies to pull the trigger. You deserve the country you get. Good luck with that.

Unfortunately, as a 44 year old, that's probably my generation as well.

But I think the absolute destruction of the education system by prior generations is largely the cause.

There are very fine people, on both sides... of the generation gap.

What are you doing to make the world a better place, jonnyboy?

And no, carrying water for those old boomers Trump and Putin doesn't really count, does it?

And they want me to give up my gas stove, furnace & water heater. Ive been watching this closely and it's crazy, thanks to data centers according to PGE.

Wyden, D-Ore., sent a letter last week asking PGE’s president and CEO Maria Pope to spell out why bills have surged by more than 40% since 2021, how many residents have been disconnected from service and what the utility is doing to keep the costs down.

Nazi and Trump dinner guest Nick Fuentes went on a rant against men. Specifically against men who say they do not want to beat up or rape women. Unmanly.

Yep. It sucks that his family has to go through that when it could be avoided.

Insurance companies (including United Healthcare) kill 50 year old men with kids every day.
We're really spoiled for choice in how we can not give a shit about this.

Thoughts and prayers for gun violence?
Play stupid games win stupid prizes for being a piece of shit insurance CEO?
Billionaires will be proven right to fear the average person, because increasingly the average person has nothing left to lose.

And ironically, universal health care is probably the thing that could make the absolute largest positive impact on all of these issues.
