If you are white, rich and pro Trump you can rape and assault women, it's OK. If you are a Middle Eastern student and write an article, you get dragged of the streets by armed masked men and sent to prison. If you are Latino you are dragged off streets and shipped to foreign concentration camps without charges or trial for life.

Children are showing up in hospitals with liver damage because brain worm said don't get vaccine, high doses of Vitamin A are miracle cure for measles.
Vitamin A does not prevent or cure measles. High doses are toxic.

By your reasoning, Trump should be deported for being an adjudicated sex offender. And a Yemeni war monger. And sure, let a technically illegal immigrant run hog wild with your future. But hey, two sides to EVERY story right? I guess that only works for one side.....

I stopped reading at “by your reasoning”…i didn't create the thing…

Your anger is irrational my friend.

First, I'm not angry. Annoyed is far more accurate. You didn't create the thing, but you posted it. What was your point? To troll? I simply responded to the inanity of it by whoever created it. Nothing more, nothing less. Silly me, I'm addicted to calling out bullshit.....

Trumpers are very bad at humor. They just end up looking stupid.

Your posts read far angrier than i think you may be aware of.
If i called out every bullshit meme the left posted, id never have time for anything else.
I thought it was funny because some of it is pointing out the double standards of those who say you cant have it both ways but want it both ways…

If the hypocrisy is lost on you, I'm sorry, i cant help.

Some are very selective in calling out bullshit. Some only call out bullshit that doesn't align with thier thinking, but there is plenty of bullshit on both sides of the isle. You seem to want to ignore one side of it.
All good. I do understand that there is a huge bias and double standard of many posters here, so I'm not concerned about your insistence of calling out bullshit, even if its selective.

Great. Forty nine years of my wife telling me what I think and how I feel and now you want to be the next one up.......maybe someday I'll get credit for an original thought......

Sorry you are confusing words. Never once did i tell you how you feel. I told you how your posts read. If you are unable to differentiate the two, I am sorry, I cant help you.
but like many things here, one statement gets twisted into another. All good. Used to it…

This is far from accurate. There are a lot of omissions here. Alot of skewed misnomers to reach a desired point.

Lots of omissions and some truths. I found it funny. Im finding it even funnier how some flock to counter it, but never counter the lefts’ inaccuracies and omissions.

I never agreed with it or disagreed. But what i did know is it would undoubtedly be misperceived as me being the bad guy for posting what i considered humor.
Some funny shit!

We agree then there are lots of omissions. Which ones are truths? I don't share your humor on this one, but that's ok. I'm sure there are probably things I might find funny that you don't.

I speak out on what I see. If I see something that is inaccurate, regardless of who posts it or what political views it might espouse, I will say something. I know if I fudge on a fact, and sometimes I do...sometimes I miss something...that others closer to my political spectrum will point it out. I'm glad for that. I want to be factual. People miss things it they sometimes agree with most of a post but maybe not all of it and like it or don't question it. It doesn't mean there are parts they don't agree with or that they don't see the inaccuracies or omissions.

I know when I post a meme it's because I agree with it, it speaks to the moment, and/or it helps alleviate tension.

Your not the bad guy or a bad guy. You made a post to share something you believe is funny and makes a point. I don't think it makes the point you believe it is making.

I guess I'm just wondering what omissions or inaccuracies from the left you are speaking of? Always glad to talk it through with you.

I find the women’s rights portion to be pretty accurate. I find slashing the gov. Not so accurate.

I appreciate the dialogue but just read the few other posts. Violins etc.
childish posts.

I find it a huge double standard that only certain people are allowed to discuss certain things here, but those same people will assert themselves in any topic, period.
We could start with the double standard of how I've been berated for trying to explain how i felt a woman may feel about something, but yet women are fine telling men how they should think, or not think about things.

It is very difficult to find truly honest dialogue around here

cue the childish posts about violins etc.
some peoples’ hypocrisy knows no bounds. :)

Oh, women's rights.
An adjudicated sexual assaulter who has been charged with sexual assault by a dozen women, some underage. He brought rapist Tait brothers back. Two members of his cabinet credibly charged with rape. He wants to outlaw all abortion. Drastically cut education and public health, which women care a lot more about than tran women playing sports. Older women are more dependent on social security, which is being wrecked. Slash Medicaid and SNAP. Eliminate public schools. Yeah, women just love that.
Women's contributions erased from Pentagon Web site, Smithsonian and other government sites. Eliminate all programs in private companies that help women overcome discrimination.
Even if you believe bigoted unscientific claim trans women aren't women, that's not priority.
Deporting rapists? So thousands of random men dragged off the streets and sent to foreign concentration camps without charges or trial are all rapists? If I said something like that you would probably call me hysterical feminist man hater.

…If I said something like that you would probably call me hysterical feminist man hater.

Nope. But what i wouldn't do is ask anyone if they have a violin. Id attempt to engage in a mature, respectful conversation. Not resort to childish antics masked with passive aggression.

The women's right portion is not accurate and here is why. While womens rights and trans rights intersect (there are trans women and you can disagree on that) Trump and his administration have worked to get rid of both in controlling women's bodies and what they can do with them and with basically writing executive orders to make being trans illegal. That is what people are angry about and they should be.

No one is against rapists or criminals here illegally being deported. They should be deported. It should also be done by the law. No one is holding the rights of illegal criminals above the rights of women. Nor trans people above the rights of women (the left is fighting for both women's and trans people's rights equally). No one on the left has said fuck women's rights. So, no it's no accurate.

Now, Trans women in women's sports has been a bit more of an argument between the right and the left. There are so very few trans people in sports. It's not all it's been made to be. Is there an unfair advantage with those very few, maybe. It's debatable.

Like I said very few cases. Trans people in sports make up such a small percent. I think it's mostly fear mongering. People afraid of more trans people taking up sports. Parents of the athletes that happened to have one of the few transgendered people on their daughters track team. Afraid their daughters aren't getting a fair shake. Angry at it. I get that. It's a balance between fairness and rights. It's a tough situation. And I'll tell you there are a lot of opinions on the matter. Not all people on the left agree with each other on it.

The slashing the government isn't accurate I agree. The right generally is the part of the spectrum saying big government is bad, not the left spectrum. There are those on the left, and I think many across the spectrum might agree that the part of big government that is bad is the influence of lobbyists for billionaires and corporations.

There are going to be responses like that. Best not to take it personally. I have to remind myself of that. Everyone can be childish or sarcastic at times. I get alot of such responses. I think people are exhausted with the current state of things and are less prone to be apologetic about things.

It would be nice if we could all always speak with consideration and have peaceful drawn out conversations without argument. But, is that really realistic when it comes to politics? Especially, in such heated times.

I think everyone is allowed to discuss most everything here. Moderation is not heavy unless things devolve. There are a lot of opinions posted here, of which there are many disagreements.

I won't go into how women feel with you. That went down a deep rabbit hole last time. I get where you were trying to get at. Some subjects are just delicate, some are really not our area of expertise so to speak.

I think most here speak truly about what they feel and believe. That might not always translate to great dialogue.

Great post.

I think the women's rights is accurate because i do not see how allowing a male transgender compete with females is protecting women's rights and pushing for equality. By using the same standard, the numbers don't matter. Only a few or in mass, To me, its wrong and a huge double standard.

I agree i think most speak truly on their feelings. But i think their feelings are biased and far from impartial.

When one says “i think your posts read as…” and the response is “dont tell me how to feel…”

or when one says “i think that women might feel this way or that way” and the response is “a man is telling women how to feel”

There is a blatant twisting of the statements to feed a hostile emotion basically claiming another is bad, when that individual was simply trying to engage in intellectual conversation.

When these people twist things like that on me personally? When they are people I've gone out of my way to be kind to? I find it completely disrespectful and basically spreading lies about someone….me.

Ive never once called anyone a man hater or tell anyone how to think or feel.

It prompts me to ask, why would someone twist words in such a way if they didn't want to portray me as the bad guy?

Again, great post and i truly appreciate your efforts. I think you know i consider you a good friend even if it may not be reciprocated, but the reality is you are but one person on this forum and there are others who portray bitter hatred and twist things around to validify the hateful behavior.
This twisting behavior seems to be fairly unanimously supported around here simply by the lack of posts correcting those who twists words around.
So when i speak of double standards, it’s this right here.
Some will rail all day, every day about all the injustices going on, but support verbal inaccuracies and then trying to justify such inaccuracies with more spin.

Some people around here love to point fingers but are either unaware or don't care that they do the same thing they bitch about every day.

It no longer bothers me, but I don't mind pointing it out, since it has had a direct effect on me in the past and has affected my relationship with this forum.

I think that matter is about protecting transgender rights. I also don't think anyone is saying screw the womens rights on that matter. It's a difficult situation. Your opinion is your opinion on it.

People speak based on their beliefs and their conception of things based on their life experiences and such.

I don't think it's people going after you personally. It's the subject matter.

I don't consider it a right of a transgender to once be a male and then compete against females in physical competition of any sort. I don't see how that is protracting their right. Right to choose? Right to vote? What rights are being denied by denying a male transgender the ability to compete with females?

You didn't really address the twisting of words in response. Im very interested to hear yours/others’ opinions on that.
I have a feeling no one will comment for the very reason i previously laid out.
Is it okay for someone to deliberately twist someone else's words around, painting the person as bad or some sort of evil?
What justification is there to allow this and if it isn't justified, then why don't more people here speak up and correct those who do twist words up?
Would it be because there is a sect that will back up their brethren even when they are wrong and framing others inaccurately?

Apparently you at least think so, since you posted a meme that does that and said you found it funny?

Like I said, your opinion is your opinion. Their right to participate. Their right to be transgendered. Their right to be recognized. All of these perhaps.

But, I did address it. While I can't speak for others, I said it's really not an attempt to paint you as bad or evil or in any light. It's the subject matter. It's knowing ones place in speaking on things. It's having respect for that notion.

For instance the feelings of women. As men, how are we to say how a woman should or can feel or not? How is that our place? And, yeah when men try to do that, women are going to be upset. And, that's understandable.

Not all women think the same way. But even those who have strong feelings one way or another about trans women in sports acknowledge very few are directly impacted.
Equal pay, health care, reproductive rights, childcare, education, social security, violence against women etc. etc. are higher priorities for vast majority of women.

And Trump opposes them all.

Trans men want to compete against men. Trans women want to compete against women. Pretty simple. Learn the game then post? Or, not anymore. Ha.
