That is amazingly coincidental to the Blazers 4th quarter problems lately. See they go into paint for 2 to 3 quarters, and then they forget about it. This is what I have been talking about with Lamarcus. We will go into half time and he will have 14 to 16 points, which pretty much indicates a team has not been able to stop him at any time. Our guards will be attacking the paint.
Then we come out in the 4th quarter, and start trying to milk the clock, and wind every posessions down to 6 seconds or less before a forced perimeter shot comes to fruition. Guys start passing up open shots, and open lanes to the hoop, in order to milk the clock more.
Just do what got you through the first half, and the problems go away. I swear Nate McMillan couldn't ride a horse if you duck taped him to it. We have the horses. Learn to ride em.
