I absolutly hate PC people, and this whole PC era we are living in! No body seems to understand anything these days, I'm ranting off right now because I just got an email from someone on this board complaining about the flag I use in my avitar, they're saying that they are offended by it because they are black. What this dumbass fails to realize is the Rebel flag is not a symbol of hate, it's a symbol of heritage. granted some people have used the flag for hate, but people have also used the Swazika, the Cross, The Crecent moon, the star of David, Barney the Dinosaur, and the word Queen into symbols of hate. so why is it that only the Confederate flag, and the Swatzika are the only ones which seem to piss people off?The Confederate flag, and the Confederacy wasn't about hate. it was an idiology, and economic system which was important to the people of the day. Slavery was an abhorrent institution which needed to die, most southerns in the 1850s and 1860s would have agreed with that, but it was the way inwhich it needed to die which caused the problems. Abolitionist thought that banning the practice would make everything right, Slave holders knew that by just banning Slavery that you would have distoried the Southern economy, and that would have eventually distoried the entire economy of the US. After the North would the war of Northern Agression, and the 13th admendment banned Slavery. the Southern economy did fall, and it pretty much stayed down until the 1970s, over 100 years. The Reason the Northern economy didn't fall is because during the war the North went under an industrial revolution, and it was the north who profitted from both Reconstruction and the Westward expansion. This upbrupt banning of slavery is also what has lead to most the racism towards blacks in the US. Most southerns dont see Blacks as have earned anything, they basically seem them as "pawns of the northern Agressors".Another thing which pisses me off is Animal rights activist. they are completly ignorant of even basic key facts. Some groups would have you believe that Humans began meat consumption after the invention of the refridgerated boxcar; which is total bullsh**. Humans have been eating meat since before the days of Erectus. PETA (which is the biggest pain in the ass group in the entire world) funds many other organizations ment to undermine the truth. they have a group of so called doctors who they use as saying meat is bad. what they don't tell you is that their leading doctor for their BS, actually has his doctorate in farming, not medicine or dietary science. their other quackpot doctor is a Gynocologist. The Gynocologist probably does have some knowledge in dietary science, but their area of study is the wrong hole. Another thing I absolutly hate about these freaks is that they use terror tactics to get their way. they will attack scientist and their families, throw blood on people, burn down buildings, and in some cases murder people. I find these groups to be the most dangerous people in America, they are as fanatical as the extremist Muslims, but they blend in better, and are also capible of pulling off much more deadly attacks. I also don't like this thing of not being able to spank you kids. Kids need an assbeating every once in a while, I'm not advocating serverly injuring your child(unless your kids a bastard), but spanking them and punishing them is what some of these kids need. I hate going into a place and seeing some 8 year old jumping around screaming make noise and being a little bastard and his parents sitting there. his parents should have the legal and have the moral right to beat that kids ass. Ok my ranting is done for now, I'll probably find something else that pisses me off.

Political correctness is why I cannot listen to political shows, political speeches, follow political campaigns...it just makes me sick and I can't watch, Democrats are the worst but it's a disease on all sides. People want real politicians but whenever they do say anything people freak out, we've created it and it's never going away now with the 24/7 news...etc... You're right about most politicians being politically correct, the exception really is Bush. He is not politically correct and he is called a moron, and idiot ect. Thats one reason I do like Bush, is that he isn't afraid of the criticism which comes from what he says. and yes Democrats do tend to be more PC than Republicans, but the worst are Pacific Democrats. that whole bunch needs to be exterminated.

I've actually heard that Bush is actually pretty smart, but that he sucks at public speaking which makes him sound dumb. He has to be fairly smart to have survived this long in Washington, its a pretty cut throat place.but back to my original topic. I found another thing which pisses me off about PC. These people who want white people to appologize for things our ancestors did. Which is complete bullsh**. They want the government to give repreations for Slavery, which is just retarded. no one alive today was harmed by legalize slavery in the United States. the Last slave died in the 1980s, so how can anyone still be effected by it? most people are 7 to 8 generations removed from being a slave or a slaver holder. also, why should people whos ancestors didnt own slaves or was against it be forced to pay?I also don't think native Americans should be given repreations for their land loss. they were esentially a conquered nation. A lot of times they stood and fought, and on a few occasion they won, but for the most part they lost and ended up in reservations. The Mexicans don't diserve any futher money for the Cession of 1848. they were given about 3 Million dollars for the land taken, but they started the war, and they lost it. The Mexican loss of Texas should not be repaid to them by the US either, the Mexicans lost Texas with no official US involvment. yes Americans were present, but a lot of them had previously sworn alliegence to Mexico, making them essential Mexican. it was an internation conflict, much like the American Revolution was to the Brits. Texas also became a sovergn country for 11 years following.The Japanese Americans who were locked up in Internment camps should have been paid repreations, because it was a violation of their civil liberties and they were Americans. but no one ever thinks to give repreations to the Germans, Nazi party leaders, or Communist who were also interned in campments during the war. I don't think the US should give the Japanese mainland compensation however. the Japanese started the war by attacking the US, So the Bombings of Hiroshima and Nakasaki were justified. if you start something with someone, be it a person or neighbor, just be prepaired to get your ass kicked.

Bush is looked down upon and made a fool by the media. You can see this in Fahrenheit 9/11, when they make Bush look retarded for something normal people do everyday. Majority of people are followers...if they want to admit it or not. They dont think and find things out for themselves. I think political correctness is a way for politicians to stay on the safe side without as many people knowing. When someoe asks a politician, "What are your views on abortion?" and they reply, "Well killing is wrong, and we should stop all killing" That statement begins to appeal to voters who are in dangerous neighbourhoods or high security areas, who now feel a bit safer because Mr. X wants to stop all killing. The truth is, he just didnt want to accidentally say something wrong and see it on the front page of the New York Post.

People still use the symbol today for benevolent reasons. You're being ignorant (not surprisingly). There is a clear difference between the Nazi symbol and the symbol for peace, but the funny thing is that most Americans have no clue what it is. The swastika has been used as a positive symbol for thousands of years, and it should matter to you to see things outside your isolated bubble living as a middle-class (I assume) American.
