He's also deeply sensitive about (and very generous in his definition of) insults directed towards him, but is somewhat more lax about them when he peppers his own posts with them. We just need to understand that Denny has deeply-held beliefs about civility that simply don't apply to him.

Further, I loathe Trump, but insults are not persuasive. If anyone voted for Trump who should not have - and he's lost a ton of those folks - insulting them just pushes them back because, you know, those "libtards" despise us just like Trump says.

I think this thread was taken the way it was intended, as a fun mockery thread. We are all sports fans and this is a common form of communication.

I made sure to not post this on a heated thread, but as a stand alone thing we could have fun with. I also monitored the thread carefully at the start so I could quickly make sure people knew it was playful. And to my surprise, even Trump supporters figured it out.

I get what you are saying, but isn't it better to be able to mock each other and joke around about ourselves? It might actually lead to people having fun and potentially listening.

There is room for being serious, and I would not lob these bombs in a serious thread.

It was a shitty thing to do to the reporter because the guy has a medical condition that isn't his fault. That I don't even mind so much even though I know it was fucked up.

He lied about it afterwards and still beat Hillary. If she wasn't just as big of a liar I'd have voted for her.

Edit... I'm just trying to say that the lying about it is the worst thing.

Honestly I want the country to do well..after he was elected I watched everyday and waited...some things he proposed I agreed with...not many...then he didn't follow through and started ranting and making enemies at home and abroad....the people he admires say a lot about who he is....if he worked for me, he'd have my support.....as this term rolls along, he's doing less and less for what I think is the good of the country. The lies are not even cleverly masked...then I get called fucking crazy for losing all trust in the man....baffles me. Some bat shit crazy hotspots are rock stars now because of his lack of diplomacy. N Korea...big mistake. The world had that lunatic on lock down and now he's empowered again....same with Russia....Syria is making Iranian nukes for them because Iran has sanctions...simple, Assad, Putin and Iran get a stronghold in the middle east and fuck off America free card. The looneys are coming out of the swamp in droves...when's the last time Nazis in the states were growing in ranks? We had that shit on lockdown as well....sheesshhh.....don't look now but the leadership of the free world is going to be speaking Mandarin soon. I would hope an adult takes the reigns.....Tillerson I respect, and he's getting fed up.....I guess he's crazy just like me....oh wait!
