So, he retires from coaching the Spurs to do USA basketball full time? Sounds like a plan to me.

Interesting note--he's all of 2 years younger than Krzyzewski.

Interesting note 2--seems only Slavic-named coaches are eligible.
 
So for the 2020 Olympics? He'll be what, 80?

Edit: he actually only 66 right now; thought he was older. So he'll only be in his 70s. Still think I'd have gone a Brad Stevens or Steve Kerr route

One can only hope they both have children that get married to each other and go the hyphenated route. Hell, they could just become domestic partners and skip the children.
