After watching the scrimmage last night, I will agree that Monroe is decent. Certainly no Faried when comes to grabbing rebounds. But overall a sound BB player. So my advice to Detroit is to keep him and trade us Drummond. Drummond looked better last night than he did in the summer league.

Monroe is solid but does not really excite me. Drummond looked better to me than DMC. He may not have the same skills, but Cousins is such is dick. IMO he is going be a headache where ever he goes.

I don't think Detroit will part with Drummond. For one; he's going to be cheaper because he's still on his rookie contract. The other is he will probably be one of the better defensive centers in the league that still is capable of being an offensive threat.

Monroe will likely get 11-13 mil per next summer.

Portland would do it in a heart beat. I think Detroit would easily do it. Houston is the question because they wouldn't have a pg. of course them getting Monroe is a huge plus. They just need a point to get their offense going

Houston would still have Patrick Beverley, but they wouldn't have a backup.

Patrick Beverly showed a lot of promise in the playoffs I thought. And they could also sign a guy like Mo Williams or Beno Udrih for very little.

Well I personally think Houston would jump on that like flies on shit. I mean Monroe is a near perfect fit next to Howard and they're in win now mode. I don't think they could get much better a player for the 3 they're sending out.

Well we'll never know because it ain't happening lol unless Olshey, Dumars, and Morey are on here in disguise.

I just like the trade because we don't lose any core pieces though and we become a forceful deep frontcourt.

Patrick Beverly showed a lot of promise in the playoffs I thought. And they could also sign a guy like Mo Williams or Beno Udrih for very little.

Detroit would end up with a very interesting trio as well, with Drummond, Motiejunas, and Leonard. An interesting amalgamation of characteristics and skillsets there; once all three developed, they could make for some very difficult matchups.
