Politics Portland Antifa attacks, sends journalist to the hospital

Using violence while trying to make a statement. That's not going to look good for the demonstration and their organized activities on the whole.

This is what they were demonstrating at their rally today? What a bunch of freaking idiots.

Ngo was also "assaulted" with silly string this past May.

What’s your angle here?

He's been a victim of something in every protest. Dudes got terrible luck.

Nov 17th, he's been a victim of silly string and loud music.

May 1st, pepper spray and they said his mother's name.

May 2nd, mocking and silly strong.

Same handful of journalists cover these things yet he's the only one who some how becomes part of the story. When someone is always a victim it makes me wonder if there is more to the story.

I fully expect Ngo to file suit against the City of Portland, the Police Department and the Mayor.

He's being targeted.

Looks like antifa is getting better at assault.

Or Portland is becoming increasingly more lawless. If the police can't protect citizens, it's time for the citizens to protect themselves.

30 Antifa and 30 Proud Boys doesn't mean Portland is lawless. Both sides are getting the attention they crave.

Meanwhile over 2000 people rode their bikes naked around Portland tonight.

Antifa was throwing milkshakes with cement mixed into them.

Just so we are clear, I am not defending or supporting ANTIFA. Just like I am not defending or supporting the Proud Boys. I do support the rights of both groups to protest non-violently.

I don't.

These protests where they take over the city and streets and redirect traffic on their own shouldn't be allowed.

Note how this violence has escalated ever since Trump became President.

It must have been 20 years ago when my niece had a large 40 year birthday party for her husband at the Heathman Hotel on a night when President Bush 43 was meeting with a myriad of Republican big whigs in the Hilton Hotel, kitty corner from the Heathman. There was a Left leaning crowd waiting to demonstrate massing in the park blocks near the Heathman. Police set up a roadblock preventing the crowd from getting anywhere near the Hilton. My nephew-in-law was vice president of CH2MHill at the time so all the attendees were dressed in suits or sport coats and slacks. We passed by the massing protesters who couldn't have been more polite to us conservative looking birthday party attendees. Even the police were polite to us and moved their barricade to the side to allow us to pass to gain entrance to the Heathman. At the party we sort of mixed in the outer rooms from the two 2nd floor banquet rooms that we had made arrangements for a catering. It was then and there that I met and had a long talk with Senator Hatfield while my wife talked with his wife, Antoinette. There was eventually a riot between the police and the protestors right below the window of one of our banquet rooms.

Now, the protests are getting worse. I wonder if people are dissatisfied with Trump and his violent henchmen.

Wearing masks and covering faces is a public safety issue and should be banned as well.

Its clearly so antifa can commit assault and not be identified .
How about white hoods in Charlottesville?
