Yeah, I don't get it. He won one championship because he had Garnett, Pierce, and Allen at the very end of their prime careers.

What has he done since then?
 
He gives a more chatty interview than, say, Nate McMillan, so the media loves him.

No, Portland is not viewed as a contender, he would be a nice fit in Indiana, would also be a nice fit for the Bulls who need shooters and would be a nice fit for the Griz who need the same. Not sure where he ends up though.

Peirce as been a pretty good player, Whines much but pretty good.
However, I was alway glad he played somewhere else. There are guys you just like to see lose and that's not good on your own favorite team.

Whining for calls is a proven strategy in the NBA, can't blame the guy for doing what works.

Conley is the 2nd best 2 way PG in the league behind CP3. Plus that shitty guard and washed up ZBO likely would have beaten OKC with Pierce and have historically throttled the Clippers, which puts them in the Western Conference Championship series.

He's no Beverly though. He could probably be our third string point behind Watson.
 
Somebody said Paul Pierce got a call? I predict Doc Rivers will be his next coach. I refuse to enter ethnic info on any forms. I think more people do than the census reflects. I remember Kenny Smith sent DNA samples to a lab to compare Barkley and Snoop Dog. Turned out Barkley was both Blacker and Whiter than Snoop Dog and Snoop Dog turns out to be predominately Native American. What they didn't tell us before the 1950s eh? In the end it doesn't add up to a can of beans to a lot of players not named Greg Oden and Robin Lopez should count for at least two Hispanics

He meticulously rested his players in the 09-10 season and, as a 5 seed, reached Game 6 of the NBA Finals with a 3-2 lead. Perkins got hurt or he might've pulled it off. Doc is a great coach. Nearly upset Miami in 2012 ECF too.

Seems that way, sometimes, lol. No, there's just a handful (I have big hands) of scumbags in the league that I don't want to have to root for. Pierce is pretty high on that list of scumbags.
