Oden was force-fed the ball and still got into foul trouble. It obviously impacted Roy's game as he was invisible in the first half.

Let the current Greg be the current Greg. That is all I am saying.

Our crunch time (late fourth quarter and OT) play was a fucking joke. Roy had a terrible game --- loss is square on his shoulders --- and all we would do is iso him. For about four minutes of gametime Roy and Outlaw were the only players to touch the ball, trying to go 1 on 3.

Just terrible.

Run a fucking play.

Although when a play is scripted we get a fade away corner forced shot with about 6 seconds left on the clock... so maybe there are no plays.

I am so fucking tired of these pussies called the Blazers!!!! When will they ever grow some balls and knock people on their ass! They are so fucking soft. it's like they don't even have balls. And what is all this bullshit about Nate and his defense. These pussies have no fucking clue what defense is.
Wow, please never support the team again. Be a radiers fan or some shit. its one thing to criticize, but name calling, esp for YOUR team is below the belt. Kindly leave.

Roy games was just off tonight and had nothing to do with Oden. Roy is invisible many times in the first half of games. They need to feed Oden and he did make some shots and was playing ok. I think a couple of those fouls on Oden in the second half were bullshit and not even close to a foul.

i cant wait to read mixums thread though lol. its coming soon

As with the rest of you, I don't think it was the right decision to go with the Roy iso the whole time at the end of the game.

It was too obvious, and we didn't do anything different.

Bayless was playing well earlier, but when he went into the game in the 4th, he was really just playing as a spot up 2 guard.

Not the best use of his talents IMHO.

Roy was invisible because he sucked today and tried too many ISO's. Raja Bell was giving him shit-fits, nothing to do with Oden

Sergio simply passed it to Rudy because that's who he favors.

Outlaw and Roy have been the closers for this team the past two years. I find it hard to believe Nate wouldn't draw up a play where Roy or Outlaw wouldn't touch the ball.

Free throws, defense, and refs killed us.

Lack of sharing the ball and walking it up the court killed us.

Some guys are thinking about their own stats way too much right now. Can't wait til after the Allstar break.

still dont get the play by rudy. he has such good b-ball IQ too

I suggest you ask Nate, because you're wrong.

Rudy was 4-7 on 3's at that point, Travis 1-5.

No other Blazer made a 3 tonight.

BTW, who were the people a couple of weeks ago who were claiming we shouldn't bother trading for Gerald Wallace, we didn't need him, he wasn't an upgrade, etc?

This one is on Roy. He missed a ton of free throws. He forced it at the end. I never thought I'd say this, but Roy needs to involve his teammates more.

Roy did nothing in the first quarter as Oden was dominating/stagnating the offense in his one-dimensional offensive game.

I blame this loss on Nate for continuing to feed a Foul Machine to the detriment of his usual offense.

FTs are clearly the reason the Blazers lost. That's not Nate's fault.

Once again, do you think that was the shot Nate wanted? That was NOT a good shot. I don't think anyone has a problem with Rudy shooting it, but the way it happened was not planned.

I blame whomever made the rims, clearly there were some kind of anti-blazers shenanigans going on with them every time the Blazers stepped up to the line.

Well, Rudy failed. End of that experiment. Nate had two better clutch options.

Just as valid, I suppose. I'd bench Oden at this point though and start Przy. Let Oden dominate the second unit with his limited offensive game. I doubt there is a second unit in the NBA who could control him.

The whole team pulled a Steve Blake, and Steve Blake wasn't even there.

Sad. :(

How much would Oden's ego hurt if he were sent down to the DL? He's not giving us anything right now.

Are you expecting double-doubles every game from a rookie coming off MF surgery?

You're harsh.

Felton 3-9 FGs
Bayless 6-9 FGs

Felton 7 assists, 1 stl, 2blks

Bayless 0 assists, 0 stl, blocked twice by Felton

All I'm saying is Bayless = SG, not PG

He had a decent game, but it cost us a win only having a PG out there for 21 mins in a 53 minute game.
