I was watching last night's TNT telecast of the Blazers game. When they went to one of their breaks, there was an awesome overhead shot of the Portland. Appeared to be footage from a blimp as the view was slowly moving along.

Was there a blimp in town last night?

It's not a blimp. It's not a helicopter. It's Captain Awesome.

TNT every couple years hires local news choppers to shoot those scenics. We save them on a drive and use them every game. Glad you've been paying attention FAMS!

Heh, I never watch pre-game.

Sorry. ;)

Pregame? We use them pre tip, halftime and right after the game is over. Sometimes coming back from commercial. You call yourself a fan.

Yes, a fan of the game, itself. Sorry, I'm getting a beer, losing a beer, feeding my face, etc. when it's your turn to shine.

I liked the angle.

HCP, your crew should have the shots like TNT -- North (Pearl) to South (South Waterfront) rather than coming in from Burnside. That's seriously the worse skyline angle.
