Summary
Blazers are on pace to win 60 games, and that's only happened once before in franchise history (1990-91). This team has good balance and gets high marks in rebounding, point guard play and 3-point shooting. Assuming good health, it's hard to imagine the Blazers hitting the skids and suffering a collapse. The core of Aldridge, Lillard, Matthews and Batum have been together long enough to develop a chemistry that's the envy of the league (except in San Antonio).

We are 4th in defense and 9th on offense.

They're (Mathews & Lillard) not in the conversation for league's best duo . I think they should easily be in the conversation myself.

Damian's in a slump with regards to his 3 point shootin. He's down to 37% now.

How long ago was this written? "Assuming good health"? Yeah... that's not exactly the blazers...

Even with all the injuries, we were on pace to win 60 games at the halfway point. Hopefully, our health will be BETTER in the second half, or at least the playoffs. Just getting one of Rolo or Freeland would be a big help right now. Getting them both back will be huge for the stretch run.

Wasn't too long ago. Maybe 2 days? He did speak of Aldridge's thumb injury, so that can give you a timeline.

As BNM said, we've been on pace for 60 without Lopez, Aldridge for 10 games, freeland for 20 and Batum for the whole season! :)

I understand that. But the assumption is gone. lol.

I think the correct assumption would be - as long as our health isn't worse in the second half of the season as it was in the first half...
