OT Portland Meadows Closing For Good

sad. Wife and i went last year for thecfirst time and were going to go more times this year.

Worst oart is they arent closing for a baseball stadium but presumably more shipping/ warehouse buildings.

That whole area could use a revamp to keep up with the shopping that went up down the street. Why not a stadium, couple hotels aNd parking and add a max stop?

They used to have great concerts there.

Held Lollapalooza there twice.
 
Watched Van Hagar there. But really since they quit doing much there the place has gone way downhill. They tried to bring in gambling machines but that never caught on much. Seriously that place needs to go. The Horse racing is meager at best and there has been a number of reports about problems with the way horses are taken care of there. There are way better uses for that land.
