guess I'll be in the minority. But I'm fine with this. Our bench is now Blake, Kaman, Robinson, Barton/McCollum. which is decent. To go along with our starters that already can hang with most teams in the league.

Of course staying healthy is the big key.

If Nate were still the coach, would he start Blake over Lillard?

If it was Blake who got into that fight with Bogut he wouldnt have missed that punch Mo threw. Just saying.

Kaman and Blake. Fresh off the boat from LA.

Im not over the moon with this signing but with the options out there for the BAE it sure seemed like the writing was on the wall for a blake return.
Isnt a turnover prone gaurd, can hit the three, knows how to run an offense and is better at D then Dame.
Also now it completes are all white second unit in
Blake
Claver
Kaman
Leonard
Freeland

Zach Lowe @ZachLowe_NBA
Like the Blake pickup for POR. Could still bring back Mo Williams, but can only offer about $3.2M, and roster reaching its limit.

good signing. Hopefully we can get Lillard's minutes down to about 34.

Yeah, a strong market of 1.

certainly a solid backup for 10 mpg, hopefully thats about all he plays

If you believe in the ability of Barton, Robinson, CJ, and Kaman to score the ball, then wouldn't you rather have Blake as PG?
Yes, absolutely. It doesn't blow my skirt up (wait, why am I wearing a skirt?), but it doesn't ruffle my feathers either (who the fuck am I, Big Bird's sister?).

Kenny Vance....Big Bird's sister....make up your mind. :MARIS61:

Blake will not be able to create his own shot like Mo, but he will run the second unit as a 'team', he will make far fewer errors, and he will play better defense. I'm good with that.

Mo 'could' still come back, but I don't think we got Blake to take Earl Watson's spot on the bench, and I doubt Blake would be good with that. Stotts would end up playing Mo and Blake, and Will and CJ would barely sniff the court. That seems like an unlikely plan.

See ya Mo. It was...exciting.

Plays better D
Finds open players, even if they are young

Not exciting, but this is a quiet good move.

Blake brings stability to the bench, good move. We aren't giving out bad contracts, that makes me very happy.
The whole league has gone mad with terrible contracts. Not Olshey. His strategy is to attempt to put the topper on the cake next summer while retaining the assets we have, and he's not deviating from that plan. Good for him.

Up grade at backup SF coming?
Not necessarily. Maybe at the trade deadline if Wright doesn't have a better year.

I was supremely disappointed in Wright last season, but with a different offensive flow, I'm willing to give Wright a clean slate on the start of next season.

If that was a factor, we should have signed Beno Udrih!

Somebody remind me where we are with the roster? We were at 15, Earl gone, Mo gone, we added Kamen and Blake, so 15 again? Or am I forgetting something?

15. If we brought Mo back we would be cutting or trading someone.

Love the signing.....Olshey has once again made something out of nothing, while maintaining flexibility.

The biggest thing the bench needed was stability, and Blake and Kaman bring that. I think both will help bring out the best in Barton, CJ and Thomas.

Sounds right?
