My guess is the flag was on that end of the field and some turned and faced it and some didn't. People trying to make this something it is not. Most of the ones turned with there back so called towards him had their hands over their hearts.

It's the US women's soccer team, I won't give them the benefit of the doubt.

I always have my hand over my heart or if wearing a hat place my hat over my left shoulder all through the playing of our national anthem. I don't care what others may do or not do, it has no bearing on me whatsoever. It's their right to express their belief as I have my right to express my belief. I don't stand these days because it is very physically difficult.

I don't feel like any where expressing any beliefs. Some were facing the flag on the side and some were facing forward in the same direction as the gentleman who was performing the national anthem and the same direction the entire Mexican team was facing. The above post is just someone trying to create a controversy where there is not one.

Are you talking about the totally made up outrage on right wing media over women's soccer team? There were two flags and the players faced the flags. They did not disrespect the gentleman playing the anthem. He was a fan, they all signed a ball for him. This is invention.

But... but... but a random dude on twitter said it was true!

Same one who knows more about Covid than Dr. Fauci.

If what Fauci was saying was true he would have posted it on twitter instead of speaking at press conferences.
