Maybe not washed up, but definitely past their prime.Pippen was not washed up. Nor was Sabonis.
Sheed didn't have "off the court garbage" that's a complete misnomer. The guy was a solid citizen. It was his on court problems with refs that got him his bad rap.I would kill for prime Rasheed in any of our last three seasons. Some hate Rasheed, but he is 2x what Aminu is. Even with the off the court baggage.
I hear ya. He will always be one of my favorite blazers.Sheed didn't have "off the court garbage" that's a complete misnomer. The guy was a solid citizen. It was his on court problems with refs that got him his bad rap.
So......which team had B Roy's prime years?Brandon Roy

U-Dub.Minnesota...?
Some of you are too young to remember this, but when we had the great Arvydas Sabonis, there was a lot of talk in Portland about how great the Blazers would have been if he had just come over when he was in his prime. Then of course we got Scottie Pippen, but he was also on the downside of his career. And now we have Carmelo Anthony, who definitely has seen better days. Am I forgetting anyone? I know we got Brian Grant when he was in his prime, but I’m not sure you can put Grant up there with the three guys I just mentioned. It seems that Portland is mainly the last stop, if at all, for guys who were once great.

Not a superstar, but 2004 NBA All Star Jamal Magloire lol
Between Jamaal Magloire and Dale Davis, Portland really cleaned up on Eastern Conference "All-Stars."
But those are the ONLY kind of stars Portland gets in trades or free agent acquisitions. The Lakers also got Shaq in his prime and Anthony Davis in his prime. That never happens in Portland.Pretty much every team has a history of bringing in some high profile vets on their last legs. The lakers use to be big on that as they brought in Malone and Payton only to have it fail and then they brought in Steve Nash for it to fail as well. The list can go on and on.
I admit it, I thought the Dale Davis trade was a great one at the time. Man, did he fall off the cliff after he got to Portland. Horrible trade.Between Jamaal Magloire and Dale Davis, Portland really cleaned up on Eastern Conference "All-Stars."
