I remember Dickie V was all over this guy during the draft when he was taken, saying "Teams will regret passing up Sean May, baby. NBA teams don't know what they're talking about! They're missing out on a guy who had a solid college career!" and blah blah blah. Typical Dickie V speak, and typical results of guys he loves out of college.

But for a 12th guy? Sure, I don't see why not.

May has played in the league.


When healthy he has shown he can actuall yput up decent numbers per 36 minutes at 17/10. Pendergraph has shown nothing accept a decent game in summer league.


May woul dnot have been my first choice, but he would be a better backup to LMA right now than our other options

I never thought I would say this but, I would rather have Frye then Sean May. and I think Frye should be in the WNBA

When healthy, which hasn't been often, May puts up very good numbers. He had a good PER (for a rookie) of 15.3 his rookie year and bumped that all the way up to 19.1 in his second season - before he got hurt, again. He also has a pretty solid, but not spectacular, TRB%. The kid definitely has talent. Injuries and conditioning are the concerns. Still as an end-of-the-bench, min contract guy, he'd be low risk and potentially good return. Work him out, let the doctors examine his knees, and if everything looks OK, offer him a min contract with one year guaranteed and a 2nd with a team option.

Yep, May absolutely tore it up in summer league a couple years ago. I know it's only summer league, but if we're going to give Pendergraph and Cunningham (sound like a law firm) props for ONE summer league game, we should give May credit for his summer league MVP "season".

never tried it on Live.. Every Sports game I have tried on Live is always Choppy as hell. is 2K9 the exception? Cause I own the game.
