For what? Not seeing much the lakers could offer. Deangelo russell and ?

Westbrook: I am not signing here next year, so trade me. I only want to go to the Lakers
OKC: They have nothing we want.
Westbrook: Then you'll get nothing when I sign as a FA with them next year

No duh. They would take something over nothing. I meant that it just looks like garbage no matter what they would get.

Would you give OKC anything for a player who won't re-sign with you?
If im the lakers, yes. Because they have bungled everything in the past few years. At least if they traded for him theyd have him in his hometown a year and would be able to offer those 7.5% raises.

If I am the Lakers I offer them DeAngelo Russell right now. He is not part of their future. As well as their 2017 pick.
No one else that is effects their future.

It A) Depends on how much the Lakers want him and B) How much of a market develops for his services. If the Lakers legitimately believe they can get him for nothing then they should go for it, but I suspect quite a few teams that perceive themselves as logical landing spots for him in free agency are going to be willing to at least part with a young player or pick.

The Clips have a better chance of retaining him.

What if:

CP3 to Cleveland

Kyrie to OKC

Westbrook to LAC.

That really hits every team's needs. Paul is in the same window as the Cavs. Kyrie is young and would fit well with Oladipo. Westbrook is right in the same window as Blake and Jordan.

Reminds me of the Marbury to NJ/Sam Cassell to Milwaukie, and Terrell Brandon to Minnesota.

After irvings finals series, i dont see that deal making sense any longer. No way cleveland does it.

He's gonna go to LA. It is known.

If he doesn't go there now, eventually he probably will. Maybe LA doesn't trade for him because they can get him for free anyhow.

Somehow Love ending up in LA makes sense to me

I want all these guys to go to the eastern conf...it's tough enough in the west already and it's probably been mentioned, but fuck the Lakers

We can save money on car insurance by switching to Geico

Everybody still sleeps on Portland and I don't get it. We are returning with the same players but with playoff experience and they should be better. Vonleh could be taking another step in his career. Hark, Meyers could all be better. CJ has all star potential. Dame isn't even at his prime. Added a nice little piece in Evan Turner which will free up Dame and CJ and who knows if we can push him and make him better. I could see this team at the 5th seed, maybe even 4th given the fact that OKC lost a GIANT piece to their success. Utah got really good. Memphis stays good. OKC got worse. Houston is dreadful. Clippers are the same. San Antonio will still be very good but not as good as last year. Dallas made moves but I don't think that makes them better. Everybody has us at the 7th or 8th seed though as a prediction but of course. Sleep on little old Portland. THEY

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts!
