Possible Trade? Collison for Rudy?

This would be too good to be true.

like a tornado through Hood River.

I think he means possible trade as in he thinks it's possible. Nothing more than an idea in my opinion.

Funny how some UCLA players look so ordinary at UCLA and then come out looking much better in the pros.

Possible trade:

Rudy for Lebron

There, tweet that to Bucher and you have the same credibility as that other idea.

Wasn't it just a fan that asked a question to Bucher?

Julian Wright, who's basketball IQ is possibly lower than T-Law's.

I don't care if NOH includes Papag as a color commentator to replace Rice. You take that trade by force if necessary. And you better run like Usain Bolt is chasing you with Vaseline in hand.

Mackel is a sports anchor in N.O.

It seems like that's just a guy who is asking a question.

The fact that he is from NO and is asking that makes me wonder how much they really value collison over there or how much they OVERVALUE rudy

@bballdocument

S&T discussed: Joel Pryzbill and Rudy Fernandez (and rights to Freeland) for LeBronze! Its on teh twitters so it must be true! #blazers

:ohno:

I think Monty has a pretty accurate read on Rudy Fernandez' value.

If this trade where true, it would make me a little nervous. Collison is a very tiny player and would get abused by even mid-sized point guards. His is coming off a very good year, but has a history that is someone mediocre (no offense Mediocre Man). Rudy, has a great history, but his coming off a bad year. I'm not saying I wouldn't like the trade, but it could happen that Collison returns to his normal pattern and Rudy finds his niche in a new system.

What mediocre history does Collins have? He's played one year.

What history? He was a rookie last year! You mean at UCLA? Who cares how they played in college or HS (webster) this is the NBA and Collison proved he can play with the best in the world also Collison isn't that small. The days of taller point guards might be numbered with the no hand check rule. Aaron Brooks and so many others have proven speed is almost everything at that position.

This. It doesn't work under the CBA. Portland would have to add salary, or NO would need to make it Collison for Rudy and the rights to Freeland

Adding Bayless to the mix and dumping Freeland works. If they don't wan't Bayless, they can deny his option after next season.

Oh absolutely. Portland could add a player, but then is it a good deal?

Collison played well, but so did Rudy in his rookie season. Also, and don't flame me, but would Collison have the same impact on a team with Nate and Roy? Slow pace and a SG that wants the ball in his hands and not the PG's hands

Can we S&T Freeland, or only trade his rights?
