I don't know how I can take a board seriously if post counts are taken into any consideration at all. It's just a glorified stat. In basketball a guy who gets 20 points on 30 shots won't be held above a guy who gets 17 on 10 shots. Same should go for post counts; they don't reflect the quality of the poster.

We all know Posts mean nothing, but there are a lot of posters here, like me, who do post good stuff, but have some fun on the side. Posts is a cool stat. It's like steals to me. You can average 2.3 steals a game, doesn't mean your necessarily a good defender, but it can. But a guy with 0.6 steal could be a better defender.

Duckman has 10,000 posts, is he a good poster? maybe.
Shape has like 30,000, and he is a good poster.
But everyone has fun, that why we join a forum.

Agreed. I used to say that all the time, but it doesn't matter here so spamming isn't considered bad.
