but ask yourself why is it only America the one fitting the bill for HIV treatment in Africa?
Why arent these countries paying for the treatment themselves? Dont tell me they are poor countries, no one is in debt as much as the US.
WHO needs to adjust without the US paying all their issues.

What part of WORLD HEALTH do you not understand? America is hardly the only member of the WHO even though you would prefer to politicize it with partisan bs. Doctors without borders and UNICEF are also world organizations. What kind of ultra nationalist isolationist country to you want to live in? One without tolerance or empathy or safeguards for public safety...people from all over the world happen to travel here which is exactly how HIV, SARS and COVID arrived here. The truth is the truth. Try it sometime. These safeguards are meant to protect you and all the Americans you and your family members have contact with daily...in school, at the store or the ball game. What do you have against safety? Money for public health is way better spent than money for weapons of war...choices For your info...China is pumping way more money into Africa and South America than we are. They value the natural resources there and are actually building African infrastructure and holding African debt for rights to minerals, etc....we dropped the ball on those two continents which along with Afghanistan are the few places you can mine cobalt or silicon for tech production and the computer industry.

From a selfish viewpoint, the U.S. pays to prevent overseas diseases from spreading to the U.S. when travelers return here.
 
Ontario has pulled all US alcohol off the shelves and will not sell US booze anymore...how's all this winning doing MAGA? Canada now with a solid 25% tax on US goods as well as Mexico. Both countries now looking for favored nation trading partners without the US in the picture. GOP will succeed in turning us into modern day Russia after all! Economic sanctions, hello! Pam Bondi disbanded the Justice department task force on foreign influence. The task force had been charged with countering attempts by hostile foreign powers to interfere in US elections. So expect even more blatant Russian interference on behalf of Putin fanboy.
 
White nationalist and drunk Hegseth announced military will no longer send recruiters to Black Engineers of the Year Awards gathering. It had been fertile ground for high quality highly educated Black recruits. But they are now DEI hires and not qualified.

The military did send recruiters to nearly all white National Rifle Association conference although military acknowledged lower quality of recruits at NRA.
