They would have tried to hurt the VP if they had found him and probably died trying at the hands of his SS detail.

Many officers were injured

Members of the legislature, especially Dems would have been hurt had they got to them, but as they tried one was gunned down and they thought better of it.

WASHINGTON — The physical toll of the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol continues to grow for law enforcement. According to The Washington Post, about 140 officers were injured in the violent siege.

“I have officers who were not issued helmets prior to the attack who have sustained head injuries,” said the Capitol Police officer’s union chairman, Gus Papathanasiou, in a statement Wednesday. “One officer has two cracked ribs and two smashed spinal discs and another was stabbed with a metal fence stake, to name some of the injuries.”

According to The Post, 65 D.C. police officers suffered concussions, swollen ankles and wrists, bruises, and irritated lungs from pepper spray. Officers were pushed down stairs, trampled and punched. 81 Capitol police officers were assaulted during the siege, but the extent of their injuries was not detailed in reports.

“The officers are angry, and I don’t blame them. The entire executive team failed us, and they must be held accountable,” he said. “Their inaction cost one officer his life, and we have almost 140 responding officers injured. They have a lot to atone for.”

Did you actually read the article you posted? It meanders giving three different injury numbers, finally settling on 81 assaults “that weren’t detailed on the report”. It’s just here-say that was never substantiated. It tries to implicate rolled ankles and irritation from their own pepper spray as sustained injuries. It’s even an early enough article they were still spinning the lie that an officer was killed, which we all know now is not true. It’s funny you post a debunked propaganda piece from WP, a nationwide outlet that is currently in its death throes, while accusing a guy in an obscure forum of propaganda.

Somebody thinks the words of the chapter union spokesman for chapter 65 of the Capitol Police’s address are the words of the journalist who recorded the interview. Hey I guess someone didn’t read the article? Hint. Suzie Ziegler is not the Union spokesperson nor is the newspaper she works for. Many outlets reported the same interview stating the same statistic. Even a simple Google search will as well. Insults coming in 5..4..3..
 
Is Trump pushing for the US to take Greenland and Canada and rename the Gulf of Mexico so that we'll lose the moral right to oppose Russian and Israeli expansion? Maybe even Chinese?

Yet we’ve all seen the clips lately of them all in absolute disgust and disbelief when it happened. Now? Meh. Feels like “remembering” things isn’t their deal. WW2? Not a big deal. These idiots like Charlie Kirk and Fox News twats who were horrified on Jan 6 now are so giddy over the pardons. It’s an intelligence thing. Or a moral thing. Both likely.
