I predict that Trump will appoint Elon Musk to slash government waste.

Musk and Ramaswamy in charge of office of government efficiency. There is no such department so no laws governing their actions. Their mandate is to cut federal spending by a third. Two very rich men will decide how much to cut from social security, Medicare, child nutrition, food safety inspection, workplace safety, mail delivery, infrastructure, disaster relief while they enjoy huge tax cut. Tax cuts for the rich will explode deficit, excuse for more cuts in service.

I wish I could laugh at all the fucking idiots who voted for someone who will now cut into their SS and Medicare, but oh wait, people i love need or will need in their lifetime SS and Medicare and SNAP benefits.

BTW, it's weirdly ironic that they created a whole new office to manage efficiency and then needed two guys to be in charge of it.

Maybe it's just me, but that seems inefficient.

It's not about efficiency, they're going to sell off parts of the government but right before they announce the winning bid they're going to invest in the company.

This is a cash grab, nothing more.

Hey, Beast, did you figure out yet what things you thought were inefficient in our government that Musk and Ramaswamy can cut, or are you still waiting for someone else in MAGA to tell you what you think and why you think it?
 
Speaking of which, it looks like Musk and Ramaswamy's first move in cutting costs in government is to pay people 40 hours per week in overtime trying to find ways to cut costs.

That's bullshit. The fact is, rates of obesity, chronic disease, auto-immune disease, and autism have been skyrocketing unchecked over the past 4 decades, and our public health, rather than investigating and working to allievate the problem are enabling and promoting it.

We can't keep on this path of escalating health care costs.

RFK JR has SUED and WON big lawsuits, several times against big pharma and corporate polluters. Those big money interests own the legacy media, which is why they won't cover these issues, and smear him. And they got you on the hook, like a little fishie.

Ultimately, our leaders can only do so much though. Your health is in your hands. Those that tell you to put it in the hands of those who profit off your illness shouldn't be trusted. Nor should any politician that advocates for censoring criticism of the corrupt medical-industrial complex.
