Nurksanity t-shirts. ill let you make them, i require a small 50% intellectual property splitI did enjoy reading these though ...
"Denver dun goofed. Gave away a 22 year old potential all-star. 1st round pick. And their playoff spot."
"That Nurkic trade was such a game-changer for Portland's future. They will be relevant for years to come now."
Nurk getting some love from opposing teams fans now too! Is the fever spreading?!
Clutchfans never lets us down:
Lillard flopping like always....hahahahahahahahahaha
(In response to Crabbe supposedly being a scrub)
(lol, ONE night)
(The salt and wrong use of "you're" made this a gem)
(The fucking irony)
Unless they have a lot of team option players, the only players that is coming off the books for them are NeNe, Bobby Brown, and some dude I've never heard of making 76k lolYes it will. They'll have cap space this summer.
Boazers? Really? I guess I've never thought about what derogatory made up names other fan bases use for us. If I did, I would expect something way better than fucking Boazers. Cheese dick Rocket fans.lol, this guy...
"that's what I'm saying though. This team only has lucky shots over the Rockets in the regular season and the first round of the playoffs. That is literally the only thing the boazers have and honestly who cares about the first round or the regular season."

Dude should be calling us the Brazzers because WE FUCKED THEMBoazers? Really? I guess I've never thought about what derogatory made up names other fan bases use for us. If I did, I would expect something way better than fucking Boazers. Cheese dick Rocket fans.
Good point.Probably a fat fingered typo. Look at where the o is on the keyboard in relation to the l.
Give the guy a break. I'm sure it's really hard to type with one hand while you're using the other one to jerk it to James Harden. Some people just aren't good at multi-tasking. Tony Brothers seems to have a similar problem trying to officiate a game with one hand down the front of his pants.

He didn't have two herniated disks in his back when this season started. Those vertebra are causing numbness and pain in his hip. This is causing him to lose strength. He is not the same player at this point. You see the difference here right? Why not? If there was a GM dumb enough to re-sign him, there may be another dumb enough to take hin as filler in a trade.
I think it's now a Nurk Epidemic

He still shouldn't have been re-signed. It was a bad move pre and post injury.
Meyers of last season is definitely worth 10 mil in today's NBA, especially when you add in his age and the possibility of improvement. That's a lot more justifiable than losing him for nothing. It's not like his signing prevented any other signings either, since we were already over the cap.
Not every move works out. That doesn't mean it shouldn't have been made. The Afflalo trade is another example of this.
Unfortunately I think he's reached his ceiling with us. But I still think there's possibility that he could become a rotation player with another team, in another system, under another coach. For that reason, and the fact that his contract didn't/doesn't impact our ability to sign other FAs, I don't think his contract is that big of a deal. We should be able to move him fairly easily, but there's really no point in moving him unless or until we've moved either Crabbe or Turner. One of those two is the lynch pin to relieving our salary issues - once one is traded, then dumping guys like Aminu, Ed, and Meyers will make more sense as the savings will begin to give us flexibility and options.Completely agree on the Afflalo trade. That's just common sense.
However, I don't and haven't seen any improvement of Meyers in the last 2-3 years to justify it. Nor do I see that he can improve - injury or not.
I guess if it was 2 yrs/20 mil, I wouldn't argue. But 4 years of it at any price... I just don't see it.

And I guess this is where our opinions differ. I still think he's an asset - but not a very valuable one. You clearly think he has negative value, and I just don't agree.I guess I am more looking at is as "why did we sign him at all" versus "We signed him for cheaper" - he's too expensive at any price.
Has it been stated when he actually hurt his back? Just wondering. The only thing at all that I have seen on the topic is the interview he did with Quick, that I made a thread on. Nothing was mentioned in it. Myself, I had to wonder how long ago he did get injured, and if it was before he got resigned. He didn't have two herniated disks in his back when this season started. If we didn't sign him we wouldn't have anymore flexibility than we currently have, and we wouldn't have been able to sign someone else, so signing him really doesn't have a negative impact on the team unless we hit "repeater" territory. But that's Neil's job, and he should be the one to draw ire if he can't avoid it due to Meyers' contract...but I think he'll manage to avoid it. At worst Meyers is a $10M towel-waver.

And their payroll will be $89M giving them $12-$14M in cap space.Unless they have a lot of team option players, the only players that is coming off the books for them are NeNe, Bobby Brown, and some dude I've never heardt of making 76k lol
He should have. He had close personal contact with him, and I've never so much as brushed shoulders with the guy. Yet I, and a few others, knew him for what he was just by seeing him on TV....he didn't know that LMA was a spineless piece of shit...
Shit, didn't realize they were in that good of cap position. And their payroll will be $89M giving them $12-$14M in cap space.

Its a NURKDEMIC :MARIS61:
Thought the same thing earlier, but it sounds so painfully awkward I just couldn't post it.
If it had something to do with Meyers Leonard, I'd have posted it (because he is so painfully awkward).
