Someone please explain why the FUCK the Yankees would trade for Marte? They don’t need another right handed outfielder. At least he hits for a good average, but once Thames gets a hold of him he’ll be down to a .260 hitter. We need starting pitching, bullpen, SS help. That’s where our priorities should be if Trashman insists upon buying instead of selling (they should definitely be sellers though, but as stated before there’s not a lot to sell on this team).

The Red Sox organization has been running circles around the Yankees since 2004. They take a couple of down years and even rise again. They've done that a few times. The Yankees on the other had prefer bandaids.
This is simply trash (Holmes with an ERA above 4 as a reliever so he’ll fit right into our BP that can’t stop anyone lately) for what is likely trash (the prospects we sent although they probably have more upside than Holmes). This is why Trashman has gotta go. We need BP help, not just arms in the BP. He’s so fucking useless at his job that an untrained monkey could do better.

I posted my trade deadline wish list about 3 weeks ago...(Marte and Story and Scherzer)...the Yanx have reportedly made a trade offer for Story.
They are not getting Scherzer but they can possibly get Story.

The only concern I have with Story is that his throwing speed has dropped a bit in the last 3-4 years.
Yanks are supposedly trying to get Gallo. Cant wait to see him swing and miss here. A .223 hitter before our shit ass coaches get a hold of him. Can’t wait to see another HR or nothing guy in this lineup, and I’m sure Trashman will overpay for him too.

Gallo is also one of the very best defensive OFers in the game...he's a relatively cheap and sorely needed LHed batter whose current stats would be leading the Yanx in HRs as well as RBIs by a good margin...he's a good pickup and a smart move...stop hating just for the sake of hating.

Just remember this when he’s Stanton but from the left side. This team needs guys that can set the table, not a guy with a .223 average. I’m hating the trade because it is not going to help this team other than the lefty bat. You call it hating, I call it being a realist that realizes overall he’s not going to help much.
