If Ed Davis really is our backup C, wither Leonard, especially after all the talk of his changed mindset? It's not like he has the sturdiest of psyches...

you should be ashamed of yourselfNurk:
No surprise, he played great, but for me, the jury is still out. Why? I know he's a beast, and will play like it and we'll win a lot of
games, but will the weight loss allow him to play 75+ games this regular season? I'm optimistic, but I'm a homer. My question
can't be answered in summer league. So far, so good, though.
No because it's only "learning" when we didn't know it before. We learned that even when Meyers Leonard knocks down 71.4% of his 3-pointers and averages 16.0 points and 12.6 rebounds per 36 minutes, he still gets hate on more in the game threads than all other players combined.

They clearly came into camp with something to prove on that end so it was nice to see the talk backed up on the court.I didn't catch all the games on TV, but I think the biggest difference is the improved team defense. Very weird to see a lot the same guys playing engaged, actual determined defense.
Total sidetrack, but is there an alternative if you want to use Surface Pen for markups?(Guess who still uses Microsoft Paint)

If his defense was good enough to get him 30mpg, you don't think he'd average 10ppg?From what I've seen, even other teams bench scrubs are faster and stronger than the summer league guys that Swanigan was beasting.
I mean there have been so many guy that have that old school type body and game that he has, but few have succeeded. The game is about speed and length and athleticism. Collins style is more adept to today's style. I think he will have a better career overall. He won't average 10 points a game for damn sure, but should be fun to watch now and then.
I like the thought of better defense starting the game, but then bringing in more defensive pressure with Turner, Aminu and Collins......Assuming they provide thatSo if Aminu is going to play around 12-18min a game at SF, what's better.. Starting him so most of those minutes come while next to CJ, or bring him off the bench so that most of those minutes come next to Turner (Which wouldn't be the best fit)
I just think that playing Turner/Aminu at SG/SF would be horrible offensively as we'd have no shooting.I like the thought of better defense starting the game, but then bringing in more defensive pressure with Turner, Aminu and Collins......Assuming they provide that
Maybe you don't need to have shooting? Maybe it's defense and fast breaks until the starters come back?I just think that playing Turner/Aminu at SG/SF would be horrible offensively as we'd have no shooting.
I'd enjoy unleashing a high energy, defensive and offensive attacking bench mob from time to time. That'd be fun.Maybe you don't need to have shooting? Maybe it's defense and fast breaks until the starters come back?
