This has been my gut feeling recently. Not the KAT part, but that we will trade the pick. I think the team is thinking they’re ready to take the next step toward contention.

You know, since Fez necro'd this thread, I'm going to vent about the 2024 draft. Remember when we just offloaded the #34 and #40 picks? Both those players are useful rotation players. And if we look at who we could have had - how about Ajay Mitchell and Cam Spencer? Jaylen Wells and Jamal Shead? Fuck, even Hukporti looks like an NBA player. (This might be one of those drafts where the second round is better than the first.)
I'm beginning to think that maybe our guy Schmidtz (or however you spell it) isn't the genius talent evaluator we've been told he is.
